I had been using some nails to hang some artwork, but the sharp ends of the nails extended into the interior of an unfinished closet, presenting a potential hazard. I replaced the nails with these solid hangars which barely extend beyond the face of the drywall inside the closet, thereby completely eliminating the hazard. They installed easily by gently tapping with a mallet -- I can see how it might be a challenge to simply press them into the drywall by hand -- and the job was done in seconds. Moreover, they provide a far more secure and stable anchor for my artwork. I could not be more pleased with this purchase.

Bought this after a painting fell in the night and damaged my walls after I had it hung with Command Picture Hanging Strips for about 3 years. Decided that while that system was super easy (and temporary, as at the time I wasn't sure how I'd feel about the locations I was hanging this) it was no good for anything other than super light frames in the long run. This kit works as advertised. You just push the hanger into the drywall, which I was able to do with my thumb without issue. If you're using the sawtooth picture hangers (as I did), you'll need to tack them in with a hammer. It seems perfectly secure even with heavy pictures (though I was within the weight limit, I'm pretty sure). Now this all sounds easy enough however there isn't much room with this hanging system for the picture to self-level itself with gravity (pivot) like it would on a simple screw on the wall so there is a lot more prep than you might expect in order to make sure that the hanger is placed on the wall level (which itself is not that easy because there is no good easy to use flat surface on it to place your level against). You'll also need to get out a tape measure/ruler to precisely tack the sawtooth hanger onto the picture in exactly the center and level, All in all, just using any old a drywall anchor and a screw is probably easier, but will leave more of a repair job if you were to decide to move it at some point. For what it's worth though, the kit does seem to do the job and is economical enough.

I have no idea how someone cannot manage to get these into their wall. Those reviews must be lies. These are the easiest things i’ve ever used to hang pictures. The tab says up to 20lbs. Im not sure I would feel good about not using a stud to anchor something that heavy, but, that may be my own anxiety! These are great for anything under 10lbs for sure. buying more! Enjoy!

I have always dreaded hanging pictures because of drywall screws and the pain of getting the hanging wire onto the wall mount, etc. This made picture hanging so quick and painless, I can't believe I didn't know about it earlier. Literally push the mount into your wall with firm pressure, hammer the sawtooth hangar onto your canvas/frame and it goes right on the mount. Took me 2 minutes.
