Super Useful Front Rack
Pros:This front rack is super useful because it can accommodate many more items than a basket. It will allow you to carry boxes, bags, groceries, and more.Cons:Boxes and bags block lights that are mounted to the handlebars. There is no way to mount a light just underneath the rack.

Pretty good fit, relatively simple install
Note: I will update this review after I've used the rack for a while. These are my initial impressions. This rack seems extremely durable and strong. I mounted to my steel fork on my Kona Sutra LTD.The good: mounting was easy enough. I tried it and had a little difficulty getting it to line up well to the mounting points. I watch a YouTube video for the priority rack, which is very similar and was able to figure it out. The key is starting the mounting from the top, not the legs. I also really like that I'm still able to use my anything cages on the fork legs while this is mounted. The bad: there are no mounting instructions. For my bike, mounting was easy but for others I can see where it would be really difficult. It's also not a simple mounting process to take on and off your bike. I can't see it working with a boost fork either. My12x100 TA rigid fork was wide enough that I had to flex it a little in order for it to get over both mounting points just above the axle on the fork leg. Last, I bought this rack to work in conjunction with a surly porteur house bag. It works, but the straps don't line up well and the bag is a little bigger than the rack. Make sure to check any bags you plan to use with this rack. The ugly: nothing major so far. The rack looks good. In it's optimal mounting position, it seems to be tilted slightly forward, almost not noticable and I think it'll not have an effect on carrying things. I also scratched a little paint off the back of the fork crown where the bolt goes through. Not noticeable at all except when I actually was mounting. It's just an awkward spot to get to with a wrench.

Be patient
Not completely straightforward to install. No instructions provided. Had to buy extra hardware (fender washers and bolt) to make this fit my bike. Holes on the strut "extensions" were a little offset and did not align with the threads. Took some manipulation to make it work - bending the fork bracket. Seems sturdy. But for the money I would have expected a little better.

Sturdy and Reliable Rack
I purchased this rack for my All City Super Professional, and it has been a great addition. Installation was simple, and the build quality is solid and sturdy. I frequently use it for grocery runs, and it handles the load effortlessly—I’ve never had an issue with stability or performance. If you’re looking for a reliable rack that can hold up to regular use, this is definitely a great option!

DOES NOT WORK ON QUICK RELEASE AXLES
I attempted to mount this to my Trek 930 which has quick release axles on the front wheel. The skewer was far too short to mount the rack to the wheel, and could not possibly fit. I also could not find a skewer that would fit. I took it to a bike shop and they confirmed that without some kind of adapter, which I was also unable to find, it would not mount. I wish that Origin8 would display this information on this page.

Sturdy rack capable of a moderate load
At first I was a bit frustrated trying to mount this rack. Other reviews said to start from the top. I had to bend the top piece of metal to fit over my front rim brakes without rubbing. Then, I discovered the bolt holes in the bottom pieces are large enough to work with an axle, meaning they were too big for the bolts I had (none were included). I attached the bottom connectors to the braze-on, and I trust the vertical movement will be secure. I used washers to ensure the bottom connector does not just slide off my bolts. Once installed, I tried it out and it is much better than the rack I had been using before. I recommend this rack. I wish they included mounting options (bolts, washers, and such) for the bottom connector pieces in the kit.
