I'm a jet engine mechanic, and we use similar files for blending small damaged areas on fan and compressor blades. Having said that, these aren't quite the same; they're not a 'cut' file. They're more of an 'abrasive' file; as such they probably couldn't handle blending on titanium jet engine components for very long, but if you're using them on metals like steel or aluminum, they should do just fine. Good selection of rounds, quarter rounds, flats, triangle, ogive, straight etc., more than adequate for most all home and light shop tasks.

These look like good files, and I appreciate the assortment of shapes, for different projects and spaces. Since I just got them, I can’t speak to durability from personal use, but they look like they’ll last, even if the plastic handles break or chip.

worked ok, not snap-on but decent value

I wanted a file that would work on glass, this don't meet that requirement. They are fine files for metal, but not glass.

As a casual woodworker, I love and understand the importance of files. When I got into 3D printing, I found that I didn't need many tools but over time I realized that I could really benefit from a set of small files. These are light, sturdy, and come in a variety of shapes and forms. They help me with post processing and cleaning up the rough edges and aberrations from some of my prints. They are definitely not necessary for my use case but they do help me take my prints further. I can also see myself using this for smaller, finer wood working or whittling. Maybe even in some other home projects or crafts. The flush cutters were a great addition to the set!

I've had these files for a little while now and so far I have put them though the gauntlet! they stood up and still work great! I would recommend these files, especially for FDM 3D printing projects!

Really nice little set for modelling. The files are nice to use and the different sizes cover all my needs. The cutters are a nice touch.

Needle files are very good but the free gift cutting pliers are outstanding. The best cutting pliers I've ever had.

Kit is great for plastic model hobbies.File aee great for getting into small tight spaces. Only problem I have is the files fill up fast when sanding putty down.I wash them byt a small brush included with the kit would have been nice.Other then that good kit.

Sind einfach zu grob die Dinger. Ziehen war, aber wenn’s an richtigen Stahl geht ist schnell Feierabend. Die Zange ist mir im Übrigen auch abgebrochen, aber Käbelvhen und Lötzinnüberstände geht‘s.

Hatte die Diamantfeilen für Metallnachbearbeitung erworben und diesen Zweck erfüllen sie auch sehr gut, aber noch häufiger kommt der Seitenschneider zum Einsatz der als gratis Beilage mit dabei liegt.
