Easy Setup for Portability
Easy setup which is most important for these portable screens. Great screen from a name brand. Worth spending a bit more to get this folding setup rather than a PVC frame setup.

Great Value!
This review is for the Yard Master 2 120" 16:9 screen (Model# OMS120H2). Happily, sometimes you do get what you pay for, and in this case.... IMO it's a bargain for the very high quality Yard Master 2 screen with pro grade frame. First off, Elite Screens is a real company with real support, you can order replacement parts, download instructions, order material samples, etc... if needed vs. no name manufacturers with no contact availability other than the Amazon seller, no factory support and no parts availability. Others have left long detailed reviews of the Yard Master 2, so I'll just list some highlights for brevity: -All metal frame construction vs. plastic corners (which will no doubt break over time) on competitors screen frames. -Commercial grade heavy duty aluminum box framing... should last for years. -No tools required for assembly. All the frame components are permanently hinged and snap into place. -Screen material is quite heavy duty, should be durable for a long lifetime. -Any fold lines are quickly flattened out when screen is attached (via standard size snap buttons) to the heavy gauge box frame. -Frame is strong enough to be hung if you don't want to use the legs. -High quality included nylon carry bag organizes frame elements. A separation flap keeps the screen bag from contacting the metal frame elements and a separate nylon sleeve is provided for the screen itself...all parts are protected from damage once secured in the factory carry bag. -Came factory packed in a strong outer box with nylon straps and tape, an inside a second strong cardboard box, then inside the carry case. You can see the care taken even in shipping prep to prevent damage to the product. Tips: -Snap the bottom row of screen buttons on to the frame first, then snap on the the top row. It's easier to snap the tight top screen buttons on while standing and using gravity assist vs. crouching and pulling/stretching up to attach the bottom buttons on last. -Much easier to attach the screen to the frame when the screen is warm because it's naturally tight fitting to remove creases/fold lines... so if it's cold outside assemble frame and attach the screen indoors without the legs inserted, then walk the assembly outdoors and just slip on the legs (again no-tools required). Takeaway: If you're looking for a high quality, durable, easy to use- projector screen... buy the Elite Screens Yard Master 2, you won't regret it!

An outstanding portable screen but beware of wrinkles!
If you're in the market for a high quality, affordable, portable projection screen, the Elite Screens Yard Master 2 definitely the cream of the crop. The collapsible aluminum frame is beautifully engineered, quick to set up, and very sturdy. I own the 100" diagonal version but other sizes are available. So, why only 4 stars and not 5? My one disappointment concerns the flatness of the screen once in place. The screen material itself is very robust and, once snapped onto the frame it is well tensioned. However, as can be seen from my attached photo, my screen exhibits some pronounced wrinkling in the corners. These wrinkles are clearly visible when viewing projected movies. I find them quite distracting though others might not be as bothered. Yes, I'm finicky :-) In looking at Youtube reviews of the Yard Master I see that not all screens have the same wrinkling issue. Luck of the draw, I guess. So, despite the wrinkles, my Yard Master 2 outperforms the other large "bargain" portable screens I've tried. For what you're getting, the price is VERY reasonable.

Perfect for the nights, easy to set up
I paired this with Hisense c2 Ultra projector, and am I happy! The pictures are perfect! Setting up for the first time took about 15 minutes. But once you are familiar with everything, you'll be watching movies in 5 minutes. The set up instructions are thoughtfully put together and they are easy to follow. I was worried about the wrinkles. But once you set it up (the material kind of stretches slightly to fit in the frame) I didnt notice any wrinkles when watching. The aluminium frame is super light, yet sturdy enough. They have also provided some metal pegs to pin it to the ground. This is perfect if you are setting it up in a grass lawn (not a concrete surface). I highly recommend this screen.

Great Product with Smooth Screen
Picked this one because the reviews indicated it was easy to put together and that the screen isn't wrinkled. I'm very impressed with the packaging and the truth in this. The screen comes in a separate sleeve that allows you to gently fold it rather than roll it, so there are no wrinkles or hard creases. Plus it snaps on the frame pretty easily after you've put it on once or twice so it's stretched out nicely to remove any of the folds. The frame is lightweight aluminum, so you do have use the tie downs even in a gentle wind if you're using it outside. We found that adding weights to the base worked well, too. Overall, I'm pleased with the quality for the price. I wish I had gone up one size, because we're using it for movies in the park for our neighborhood, but the larger sizes go bad reviews.

So glad I went with this one! See my video for a demonstration.
Summary: Lightweight but very sturdy, folds up quickly and compactly, secures safely to the ground. Noticeable creases in the screen but not distracting. I'm in love! I bought a projector to show movies in my backyard and then fretted over what to do about a screen. I just assumed anything worthwhile would be too expensive and seriously considered putting something together with PVC pipe and a white tarp. What a mistake that would have been! The whole unit comes packed nicely in a carrying case for portability (think the size of a Pack n Play baby crib). Both legs unfold and slide into the main frame, which is cleverly folded in 4 places as to fit inside the carrying case. The screen itself snaps all along the frame, about every foot, which keeps the screen tightly stretched and adds to the sturdiness of the frame itself. The whole thing takes about 10 minutes to setup and 10-15 minutes to fold up and put away properly- though I leave the frame/screen intact between viewings and just remove the legs (which takes about 30 seconds and is much easier with two people). Once the frame is put together, it's very lightweight and easy for one adult to move it around in open spaces. Closed-in spaces are a little tricker because the screen is so big. I have an unused space near the door to my backyard where I can keep the screen between viewings (with the legs detached), which is really useful. But if you have to go up/down stairs to store it or around many corners, you'll probably have to have two people just to negotiate the angles. I had thought when I first bought the screen that I would need to set sandbags or something on the legs to keep it in place, but of course there's an out-of-the-box solution for that. Stakes are provided to pound into little holes in the legs and keep the screen secured to the ground. These work great but make sure you have a hammer to do the pounding. There are additional measures involving twine but I never bothered with it and never had a problem. I'm also happy with the quality of the screen itself. Yes the screen arrives folded up and to fit into the carrying case it must be folded, not rolled. Once the screen is stretched across the frame, you'll still see creases. Honestly even after having the screen attached to the frame for a few weeks I still saw the creases. However, they never distracted from whatever movie I was watching so this didn't bother me at all. This screen is built for a very tight niche- backyard movie nights- and it's perfect for that purpose. It wouldn't really be appropriate for an indoor home theater arrangement but it's very mobile and lightweight with great quality, making it just right for your backyard oasis.

Elite Screen vs. Da-Lite (from professional multimedia artist)
This is my third Elite Screen I've owned over the past 10 years or so. I am a multimedia performer and set up these screens about 100 times per year in my programs, so they get put through the wringer. My first screen was a Da-Lite, which cost about $700 back in 2007. Elite Screens (ES) are comparable in many ways and are actually easier to set up than those old models (not sure about current Da-Lites), however, the height cannot be adjusted and the frames are not quite as robust. Basically, ES is consumer grade and Da-Lite is pro quality. I get about 3-4 years/screen from ES and my old Da-Lite is basically as good as new. So why don't I use Da-Lite? It's harder to set up and the case is ridiculously big. I was able to downgrade from a minivan to a mid-size SUV because these are so much more compact. If I could find a sturdy case like the one that comes from ES, I could go back, but I probably won't. On this model (#3), I like that the fold-up "feet" that support from the back of the frame are optional. I found them pretty unwieldy on the last screen and unnecessary. Here, they are detachable, not permanently attached, so I am just leaving them off. In a windy outdoor situation, I can see how the extra stability would help but I'm almost always indoors. I also thing the hinges in the frame look a little less likely to break. Screen #2 had the worst hinges. The new locking mechanisms are simpler but a little harder to work. I'll get used to it but the first iteration of this screen worked the easiest (These are finger-pinching machines, so watch out). Things to watch out for: -The snaps are prone to come off if you yank too hard when you're tearing down (Da-lite had a definite edge here). If you lose a couple, it's not a big deal (unless they are the corner snaps), but if you lose 5-6, it means the screen won't be pulled as tautly as it should -The carrying bag is crapola; zippers break and fabric tears. I am on the lookout for something else that works but it's an odd size. This turns out to be a pretty big deal for a regular user like me but won't be an issue for someone who sets it up in their yard a few times a year. -If you buy one of the refurbished ones on Amazon, they won't stand by the product. I bought my second screen that way and one of those fold-up feet broke in the first couple of weeks. The listing said I would still get a warranty but they would not send me a replacement. As I said, that fold-up foot is more hassle than it's worth so I lived with it. -You would think the snaps would be spaced out the same way but, no, they seem to change this from year to year so the actual screens (the fabric part) do not go from one frame to another perfectly. I had a front-projection screen from my first purchase and hoped to use it on my second purchase, where I went for the rear-projection option. It worked, but many of the snaps on screen #1 wouldn't line up with those on screen #2, so the screen isn't as taut as it should be. Neither screen #1 nor #2 line up with the snaps on frame #3, so you can feel my frustration. Overall, these are worth the money but could be improved. Considering each iteration is a little different, they do seem to be working on it. I hope this helps!

Great for outdoor events.
Quick and easy to setup. Very sturdy, just make sure you tie down the ropes in windy conditions. The screen material is heavy and good. For what it is its perfect for outdoor use in events, of course it wont compete with something like an indoor ALR screen

This Screen covers all the bases!! It. Is. Awesome!
To put things in perspective, I picked up a projector at the beginning of the summer via Prime days. I tried pretty much every 16:9 100’projector screen with a stand on Amazon (that came via Prime) between $80 and $180 dollars. About 5 in total. Every single one of them had some very tragic flaw. From stitches popping and tearing during setup and take down on fabric screens. To fabric not being opaque enough or just not being able to display the picture very clear or bright (I did change the project very early in this voyage from 480P to 1080P native), to the whole frame/screen combo being very award and unstable or just completely impractical and poorly thought out. Every aspect of this screen has been carefully thought out. From the multi-section carrying case that as separate compartment for each part and separate sleeve (and separating flap in the case) for the screen. With still enough room to slip in a power bar. This is really important as you will get dirt on the stand legs and this keeps it off the screen. The stand and frame is very light and very sturdy and comes with everything you would need to make even it more sturdy (pegs and rope). The first time the you clip the screen to frame is the toughest. But it does stretch a little and each setup and take down is little easier (more from practice). The way the frame folds down in expands to a solid 16:19 frame is genius. It is very easy for one person to setup. Using this screen is easy ESPECIALLY if you read the instructions. Oh Lordy, instructions with proper English grammar, phrasing, RELEVANT pictograms, and without spelling errors. Printed full step by step method to setup and take down the system. Only after using the mess that you get with cheaper stuff can you get an appreciation for this. I mean I had one $120 screen where the only instructions were silkscreened onto the fabric carrying case (no words only pictures) on both sides and bottom of the case!). THE only thing I can fault is the way the screen has to be stored in the case. It does creates creases/wrinkles on screen. (though after reading the manual again and little practice now just creases.). No matter how long the screen stays up before the movie, they never really go away. HOWEVER – we have watched dozens of movies on this and not once did we ever notice see the creases when picture was projected on to it, nor did we notice picture quality degrade. I usually set it up 30 to 40mins before sunset and by time its dark enough for outdoor theatre, all creases have faded (stretched) out significantly, to the point if you are standing inches away from the screen you can see some, but 3ft or more away you cannot.
