Reliable hose for self sealing Freon cans.
This works well with the new self sealing Freon cans. The gauge is helpful and already saved my brother over $200. He had added Freon in his car with a hose that didn’t have a gauge. As a result, he overfilled the system and the system in his car wasn’t cooling. He was about to have it professionally serviced for $200 when I connected this and discovered that it was overcharged. It was a quick fix with this hose and gauge to get the right pressure in the system.

Barely Adequate
You can charge Freon with this setup, but the cable is very short for reaching an AC port and positioning the Freon can in a crowded engine bay. Twice the length would have been much better. All the connections are crimped, so no adjustment is possible. Also, this is a puncture-type can tap, and won't work with the newer self-sealing cans. That should have been specified in the listing.

Worked great
I bought a car that the ac didn’t work. Got lucky, used this to install one can of R134 and now have cold ac.

Does not work with self-seal refrigerant cans
At time of purchase, product does not state that it will not work with self-seal refrigerant cans. Only piercing cans
