Solid case. Great for carrying around my extra batteries and xqd cards for my Nikon Z6

Ok, this seems like a good case: solid and thick plastic, good closing latch, and slots for two batteries and several cards of various sizes (all card types that I use frequently: CFExpress, SD and microSD). It'll be an ideal case for a day trip for me.That said, I have concerns that prevent it from being my "ultimate" card case (the search continues). I write this both for prospective purchases and the product designers. Hopefully the designers will take this feedback on board.1) annoying "extra foam" to go under batteries to ensure that they don't rattle when the case is closed. Both my batteries for my mirrorless cameras will rattle unless I put in one of the thin foam spacers, but these spacers fall out of the battery compartment when batteries are taken out, or when batteries aren't in there. I need to source some double-sided tape to solve this problem.2) wasted space between the batteries (ostensibly for a USB key-shaped card reader, which I'd hazard few photographers are going to use). I'm going to cut 4 vertical slots in there for extra SD cards, it would've been nice if the place-holder foam insert there had those slots already.3) the foam in the upper lid is very shallow, it barely holds cards in place. A robust case like this is (very likely) going to be used in rough conditions in the field (why else buy a case like this?). I put CFExpress, SD and microSD cards into all of those slots, closed the case, and slapped it into my other hand a few times. All of the CFExpress and SD cards came loose (the microSD cards did not, but they don't mass much). Note: this doesn't happen when batteries are in the case, they hold the cards in place, but I'm not _always_ going to have batteries in the case.4) the product designer of this case made a very typical mistake that shows they aren't a working photographer: the SD card slots require the cards to go in only one way (using the cut-off corner of these cards). I prefer to be able to flip my cards, so I can tell which are empty, and which are full. I'm going to have to cut out that corner myself in order to do this. Arrgh, of what use is it to require SD cards to go in only one way?

I wanted to used this for everything you se in the picture (Micro SD, SD, CF). The foam is perfect to cut but there is sticky residue left behind which means that the glue to stick the foam is tightly in place and won't move.The USB stick holder can be stuck down if you don't need it. I put a pin there as its the perfect place for it.I used BP-511 which fits perfectly. Its also as big as my hand so easy to hold or grab.I did drop the box in a puddle and quickly took it out of the puddle. When I opened it everything inside was still dry so I'd say its definitely splash proof.Overall I'd strongly recommend this box.

Ideal storage case. Sturdy, should protect batteries and cards. Good purchase.

Good sturdy product

I spotted this case whilst looking for something else and the price seemed reasonable so thought I would take a chance. It arrived quickly and the Z6 batterys fitted nicely, plus spare XQD cards. And as I use my Z6 for music gigs I do get through batterys in a day, so this case is perfect for me.

Eine sehr robuste Speicherkartentasche. Ich würde sie nochmals kaufen. Leider war die Dichtung nicht angeklebt, so dass sie leicht abging. Ich habe sie jetzt mit Sekundenkleber angeklebt. Nun funktioniert alles super.
