Brilliant
Cheap and affordable microphone. This product is fab for any photographer/ videographer who wants to do voice overs or have there subjects record voice recordings. The sound quality is brilliant for such a small and affordable item and couldn't fault it... You even get covers for both of the microphones and they are easily clipped to clothing.

Dual Lavalier Microphone
Lightweight and easy to use, but I found the sound qaulity to be poor. I wanted to use for LIVE social media chats and posts but my phone sound is much better 🤷♀️

Ideal for Vloggers or anyone doing a 2 person interview
Ideal for Vloggers or anyone doing a 2 person interview, these lavalier mics come with small, very discreet clips and are on 6 metres of cables to give great range and flexibility. The jack will fit phones as well as other standard recording devices and the sound quality is great. The only negative I had with them is that I couldn't use one mic to record one person withough the other remaining active and picking up sound too. The only way I can see around this is to clip both mics on the subject to be recorded which is a little clumsy. In fairness they are sold as a dual lavalier unit so do exactly what they claim. They are very low cost too .

Nice basic mic.
For the amount this mic costs it's pretty good value, but the sound quality isn't particularly amazing. If you want this for basic recording and aren't too worried about your production values, then it's really good and excellent value. If you're going for a bit more of a professional sound you'd be better off to save up a bit more and get something better. You get two microphones, permanently linked together, that go through a common jack. This is great if you're doing an interview kind of thing, but if you just want to use one there is no way to mute the unused one. There is no way to mix the two inputs either and inevitably the levels into the two mics will not match. These are omni-directional mics, so pick up everything in all directions and are quite senstive to ambient noise. Using them clipped on to clothing will pick up rustling noises, and room noise will also get picked up but it does seem to filter to voices with more sensitivity. The mics themselves don't seem to produce any noise, and there was no background hums or buzzing. For the price, it's pretty good. If you're interested in getting into using this sort of mic and want to experiment without spending too much money then they're ideal. Similarly, if you don't need super-duper high quality recording, but want something better then your laptops or phones internal mic then you can't really go wrong. Great for communal zoom calls and so on. What you get is fairly reflected in the price.

Average performance on a budget
This kit comes nicely packaged and with a good collection of accessories. The cable to each mic is very long and they join to connect to one jack cable. A mobile phone detects it when you plug it into the headphone socket and selects external mic to record with. This does mean that you can't use headphones at the same time. The sound quality is ok for the money, however the internal mic on my phone sounds better and does a better job of reducing the pickup of room reverb. During testing I also notice that both wired mics don't sound the same when comparing. An obvious issue is that you can't just use one mic for solo recording as there is no way to switch the other one off so you'll always be picking up the ambience from the other mic unless you stick it under a pillow. Overall , you get what you pay for. If you care about your sound then it will be worth investing in a more specialised kit so you can achieve better results.

Good when recording far from your camera
Was looking for a lavalier that two people can use with just one camera or phone. I can say this one is not bad. Two people can use the microphone and you can be far from your camera or phone when recording as the cord is pretty long. It comes with windscreen foam and 2 extra ones. You can clip on the microphone on your clothes. It comes with two extra batteries as well. The only downside is the audio. It sounded as if you are under a blanket, although the audio is pretty loud. The sound is not as crispy and clear compared to the sound that my phone can pick up without the mic. This set also comes with a storage case. Not bad for our first lavalier mic.

Good value
You need to think through how you are going to use this. If you need to monitor via the same jack you will need a splitter cable. I did that and it works well but normally when I am using this on video calls on my laptop I route the sound output differently. I have also tried it in powered mode via a mixing deck. For the price, I think the quality of sound pickup is good. All the better given this is a dual set up. The cable is very long at 6m. That gives great flexibility if you have a couple of people using.Overall: this is a good value set up. At this sort of money you can't expect professional level quality. But for a domestic set up this is good enough.

Great budget dual mic for interviews/podcasts
Audio these days has gotten to a level where something like this priced at £20 actually sounds very good! If you buy a £200 product, the quality isn't going to be 10x better due to the law of diminishing returns. You might get some better noise cancelling and wind resistance, but for indoor use I don't think you'll be unhappy with these. The mics have cables around 6m long and join at the end to connect to your device. If you have a camera that doesn't supply power through the audio port, then you'll need to use the battery supply of the mic which lasts for 70 hours. If you're connecting to a phone or laptop though, you most likely don't need to worry about this.It says that you shouldn't use this for a desktop computer because there are multiple audio ports. You likely won't be able to use these straight out the box, but if you mess around with your audio software then you'll probably be able to get this working if you have a modern computer!Overall, I think this is very reasonably priced for what it is and is recommend it!
