I ordered this so I would be able to charge my iPad while using a usb midi controller and headphones. It fully met my needs and is easily portable to go anywhere I am. Very happy with this purchase.

The product is exactly as described offering a 3.5 and USB port as well as a USB type-c charging port. Item works as expected with decent sound quality however I have noticed that sometimes the audio will not play when also being charged, in which case I have found that all that's needed is to unplug and replug the type-c charging connection back in, and the audio will resume as intended. Being compact in size this works perfectly for travel when using a power bank and 3.5 wired earphones playing music from a USB flash drive all on my USB type-c only cell phone.

I use this adapter to take the digital sound out of my iPad Pro with the USB connection and port it to a Peachtree X1 USB to SPDIF converter and then to a DAC and stereo. When connected this way the volume control on the iPad is bypassed. It should be noted that I had to connect the power adapter as well, so the converter had enough juice to work. I’ve also used it to connect to my computer. On rare occasions I’ve used the headphone out jack to connect to an external stereo. Sound quality this way was very good and the volume control on the iPad was functional. Either of these ways of connecting music to a stereo sounds infinitely better than wireless BT. Curiously this doesn’t seem to be the case with wireless mirroring to a Samsung TV connected via optical to the same stereo.

I use this for my MIDI controller, audio interface device with my Pioneer DDJ1000SRT, and guitar interface with my iPad Pro. I’ve had a couple initial hiccups with the headphone jack working, but feel I was doing something wrong because I haven’t had any issues after the first week. I highly recommend this as a cheap alternative to higher end items. You get what you pay for, and I think this far exceeds the price point for such a dongle.Only con: plastic shell feels like the kind that will crack easily if too much pressure is applied to it. (Although I take great care for my electronics, so not a concern for me.)

It works well. I bought it to adapt earbuds to my IPad. Does the job. It has other functions I haven’t used yet.

This thing would be perfect for my needs if it wasn't crap.First impression after "unboxing" was how cheap it felt. I can't even describe how flimsy it was, but think of those cheap five dollar adapters you can find on eBay. You know the ones that feel like they'll snap between your fingertips with a light pinch.First use resulted in crackling audio and it simply stopped working by the next day.I've been a bit too busy and missed the return window and I really wish I didn't because I really want that money back. I already felt like I was overpaying when I bought this.I'd issue negative stars in this review if I was able to. I can't even say it's a twenty dollar paperweight, since it's way too light to even serve as that.

Unit charged slow at first while connected to a Switch Lite, but after a few days, would only register a charger, but not let anything significant through. Used Nintendo charger(s) at first but eventually tried all my other chargers(fast, quick, PD) and wouldn't get power to any device.

UPDATE:I inittially gave this 1 star. I received a replacement unit and it works! The cable does feel flimsy so I'll be keeping a eye on it.1st review:I plugged it in and couldn't get sound through my headphones. I tried to gently move the cable and I was able to hear static noise with some music, but only for a split second. In conclusion, the cable was defective and I'm not happy.

Etc.Vale cada centavo en esta época de confinamiento
