Prime-Line PL 7812 Aluminum Screen Frame Kit, 5/16 inch x 3/4 inch x 36 inch, White, Set of 1

This is a neat kit. Measure carefully. Saw the side pieces to length with nice square cuts. Have a small flat file handy to clean up any burrs in the cut ends of the aluminum. Install the spline rubber so the ends meet in the middle of a side piece, not at a corner.

I needed this for my storm door. It fit perfectly I only wish I bought it sooner.

This product is fantastic. Spines are included, use them not the ones that come with whatever screen you are ordering. Sturdy, well painted, no manufacturing defects. We will buy these every time we need to build our own screens. MUCH cheaper than buying custom or elsewhere. Fully save 67%.Easy to build, perfectly square. When you attach the screen keeper springs, use a non-marring mallet to bang in the spring and the corner piece at the same time.Also, it is much easier to build the screen with two people. I would estimate about 15 minutes total per screen. You will need the screen roller tool. I used table saw rather than a hack saw. Our finished screens look factory made.10 out of 10, will highly recommend!

I bought 3 of these kits and one roll of the screen material and made 3 window screens for my oddly-sized old windows. Worked out great. It's a bit of work to cut them to length, but the end-caps are great because then the cuts don't have to be perfect. They give a little extra rubber for each slot which is good. Made for a clean install.

I wasn't careful and these are about twice as wide as the old steering was. I was able to get it to work though. For it's a bit expensive. Not worth what I paid.
