Great piece of kit. Accurate readings given on empty bottle and half full bottle. Takes the guess work away. Expensive but worth it.

TESTED ON GAS CYLINDER IN MY CARAVAN. IM GUESSING BUT LEVEL INDICATED DOES RING TRUE. AS FAR AS I AM AWARE, IT WORKS FINE, BUT KEEP IT DEAD STRAIGHT OTHERWISE IT WONT READ ACCURATELY.

There are some mixed reviews about this product, and yes, you can buy cheaper alternative methods to check gas levels in bottles, but I decided to purchase this and haven't regretted it. It's accurate, very lightweight, and super simple to use. Our one spends it's life in our caravan so I can easily check the levels of the gas bottles. As mentioned, there are cheaper and alternative methods or devices, but this is a Truma branded one, and I thought as they do all the heating, etc. in most caravan makes, then it must be worth a try, as I kind of hoped the name would warrant the cost. In some cases, spending more doesn't always guarantee a good product, but for me, it did on this occasion. It's worth it, but shop around.

This would have been perfect for checking the gas level in the bottle on the barbeque (flogas metal cylinder 11kg from B&Q). But sadly it didn’t work. The bottle currently has 9 kilos of gas, verified by weight. But this device showed it was empty! Plus over the next 24 hours checking it in different positions and handlings, it measured empty where it was full, full where it was empty at the top, varied in the middle, in all the positions. So with regret I had to send it back for a refund.

Brilliant gas level tester, particularly in our motorhome, but also for the barbeque. Easy to use and gives a good reading without the need to weight test.

Good up to yet value for money OK

The Truma Gas Fill Level Check works a treat. You just press the end against your gas bottle and the light shows green if it detects gas and red if it doesn't. If you get the red light you just move the check further down until you get the green light so you know what your level is. It's a bit pricey but worth it for peace of mind as it ensures we will never run out of gas unexpectedly again.

Ich weiß nicht was so viele jammern. Ich will ungefähr wissen, wie viel Gas noch in der Flasche ist, damit ich besser abschätzen kann, wie der Zustand noch ist. Ich brauche keine Gramm-Anzeige und auf die Sekunde genau angezeigt, wann die Flasche leer ist. Ich kann mehrere Messungen in verschiedenen Höhen durchführen und schnell ausloten, wo etwa der Füllstand liegt. Zumindest will ich nur wissen, welche Flasche ich bereits angebrochen habe und entsprechend die Umschaltung einstellen, der Rest läuft ja automatisch. Das Gerät ist klein, handlich und sehr leicht zu bedienen. Passt nach der Anwendung in die Tasche und hat sogar eine Taschenlampe integriert. Mir reicht es vollkommen aus und erwarte nicht mehr als das was es macht. Ich empfehle es zumindest gern weiter.

Truma gasmätaren är suverän. Blev dock en felbeställning där en mätare skickades tillbaka. Returen var enkel att genomföra och gick utan problem.
