Webster's New World Pocket Spanish Dictionary

I got this when I was studying spanish in school. I still have it and have used it when I travel to Spanish speaking countries. It covers all those words you never think you'll need until you need them. It also covers basic grammar and conjugation of verbs. A must have for anyone going abroad.

Good pocket dictionary, easy to use

If you're deciding between this and the green pocket spanish dictionary from webster (because they are both pocket sized), this is the one you want (I have both). This one's a little taller and therefore thinner (same width). But what's really better is the middle section of verb conjugations. There are numbered models for irregular verbs, and the dictionary entries use these numbers to indicate how a verb should be conjugated. And a bonus: that section's edges are grey, making it easy to open the book into the Spanish or English halves. The green one has no such divider, and you'll be flipping more pages than you'd like.

I'm a fan of this. Quite a fan. Has a few spreads for common phrases as well as verb conjugation tables/lists. Really cool! I'd give a five-star rating, but it's missing a few translations here and there. Just certain words that I KNOW aren't commonly used, but would be nice to have on hand. I'm sure Webster's cut down on obscure words in order to fit everything into the actual-pocket-sized dictionary (which is a detail that I never knew mattered to me until now), BUT it does have a HORDE of common (and some obscure) words and examples for their contexts! Super nice.

a must have if you want to learn.

This was handy to have on our trip. It had common phrases for negotiating prices etc. I didn't have to use it as often as I thought I would need to, but it was good to have. Small and easy to tuck away in our day bag.

Small dictionary great for learning a new language and small size to keep on you at all times.

Great product, very helpful for granddaughter in school!
