No Grow/No Shell Wild Bird Seed Mix, 20-Pound Bag

We have a lot of little birds visiting our feeders. They love this stuff. If it empties they line up on the deck railing and stare at the window. Very little sprouts as the birds even go after spillage.

We used traditional bird seed that had a variety of seeds, many of which ended up on the ground and wasted. Unfortunately, they also have a tendency to sprout into grass and weeds in our flower beds which caused us more work than it was worth. This "no grow" bird seed was exactly what we needed. The birds still make a mess of it, but what lands on the ground is food for doves who prefer it that way and best of all, NOTHING sprouts.

I have tried other 'No Grow' bird seeds but this is by far the best. Absolutely no grass/weeds below my feeders. The only draw back with these seeds is when they get wet they clump and rot. I know that it's due more to the feeder than the seed but is aggravating to have to clean the feeder after a heavy rain.

This is my second bag and it is very nice seed, but has a number of black hulled sunflower seeds mixed in.

My husband does all the lawn care and the cheap bags of bird seed were growing weeds like crazy. I shopped around and decided to try this one. After a few days the birds found it, love it and no weeds for my husband to combat.

They say that it will not grow, but I have been pulling plants out all summer long from under the feeder. I will be going to another brand from now on. What a mess this product created.

It has sustained my feathered friends through the harsh winter without leaving shells to clean up and weeds to pull during spring.All the birds love them, so do squirrels

I got the same product at Feed the Bird's delivered for 1/2 the price. I do like the product because I put the bird feeder in my garden and it does not grow a grass mat of weeds under the bird feeder.
