Si. yo lo utilizo en una lavadora de ropa grande Maytag. Para seguridad mejor si lo usa con una maquina a la vez.

I have a 220voltage hair dryer 1650 watt from Asia. Is it working well?

Works just fine. I've used it for a 1400 watt waffle maker and a juicer. Haven't really worked it at it's max capacity, but I think it's a quality product. One can tell if it's quality buy it's weight. It's definitely heavy, which means they didn't skimp on the copper wire inside.

Do I have to turn it off when not using?

No, but it probably draws some power, so to save electricity, just flip the switch in the front. Really easy.
