Svelte Organic Protein Shake, French Vanilla, 11 Ounce (Pack of 12)

I use Cal Naturale's Svelte Organic Protein Shake in Vanilla almost daily. Sometimes for breakfast (in which case I add a few crushed vitamins, shake, and enjoy), and sometimes as an afternoon snack. When I was on a feeding tube I took a case with me to the hospital and lived on it (plus water) for the duration of my stay. It was much easier than having my husband bring in home blenderized meals and very gentle on my system to digest. It also met my requirements for a vegan/gluten free meal and had enough carbs/protein for my doctors. (Could use more vitamins so again, supplemented). I discovered Svelte after I was put on a feeding tube and had to find something vegan/gluten free. Thank goodness for Svelte. I love the Vanilla flavor. I cannot have chocolate or caffeine so have not tried the other flavors. I have this on Subscribe and Save and with Amazon Prime it is the best price anywhere! Thanks Amazon!!

We previously used Orgain Nutritional Drinks (dairy based) as school snack and supplement for our son. Recently we found out he has food sensitivity to all dairy products so we were looking for a replacement for Orgain. My son usually does not like anything soy, but he does like Svelte.The reason I only gave Svelte 4 stars is because it lacks the organic fruits and vegetables that Orgain includes. And also because it only has 11 grams of protein to Orgain 16. However, Orgain also costs $5-8 more per case so I don't mind paying less for Svelte when I am getting less.

I originally bought these because of the high amount of protein, which was recommend by my doctor because I'm pregnant and needed to increase the amounts I was getting. However, after drinking a couple of these, I quickly got sick of the flavor and texture of it. Kind of grainy, chalky. Probably because of all the soy. Plus, I just don't feel comfortable consuming all the naturally occurring phytoestrogens in soy. Especially because I'm pregnant with a boy. I really don't want to overload him with female hormones. I stopped drinking these and started drinking Orgain. I like it better.

I love this product but it seems that the packaging has changed and the serving size has gotten smaller. I used to be able to use this as a meal replacement if I was running out the door in the morning or couldn't get to lunch. It's too small for that now which is really disappointing. I don't think I'll be buying it again.

I have tried SO many organic/all natural/vegan/raw protein drinks trying to narrow down the good ones that taste good and are actually good for you and this one I have to say is one of my faves!!I LOVE coffee flavor and this one tastes great. Doesn't taste chalky at all like Orgain or those other nasty protein drinks! This one is sweet but doesn't have a lot of sugar, and actually fills me up! I'm on the Paleo for Crossfit and I refused to put nasty chemicals/additives/whey protein in my body, and this Svelte Cappuccino is super clean and a great on-the-go drink when I don't have time to make a protein shake or eat a meal!Must try! You'll love it!

This brand has a lot of things going for it. I've tried just about every Ready To Drink protein shake out there and this one was not horrible. But, for the price it wasn't all that good either. If I have to gag it down I would rather pay less for that honor.Of course price is subjective ... I would recommend that you buy one of each flavor locally or a sample pack and if you enjoy it then buy in bulk here.

I love these Protein Shakes, I enjoy them when I'm on the go of relaxing at home, they are refreshing and I can drink them guilt free. These are dairy free and it is so hard to find dairy free protein drink that taste good and is good for you. This product passed all the requirements for me. This is my favorite flavor and I'm so glad Amazon sells these because when I first heard about these, I searched so many stores and could not find them. Amazon Rocks!!!!!

I love this stuff and reviewed the 15oz bottle. I don't really mind this size as a snack but I'm mad that I didn't notice it when I ordered and thought I was getting the larger size because it was pretty much the same price as the larger size. No one's fault but my own, I know, but maybe I'll save others from making the same mistake.
