For $34 I'm not going to complain about what I had to adjust but be prepared
It looks and fits ok. But as other have noted the electrical plug is a 7" harness where her factory unit had a built in plug. Length would make installing the inner cover very difficult except that the new harness has the male end just like the factory door harness, so I had to cut and splice. Also the colors are reversed so up would go down and vice versa, so I swapped them. For the cost it was worth it

great mirror but needs info on harness confusion.
I bought this for my daughters car in college after another driver got too close and broke her factory mirror assembly.It looked proper and fit well BUT as shown in the picture the electrical plug is a 7" harness where her factory unit had a built in plug into the base. The harness is too long and make installing the inner cover very difficult. Also the new harness had the wrong end. It had the male end just like the factory door harness has. We had to cut and splice and the colors were coded different. For the cost it was worth the extra work. Maybe some Camerys came like this but ours did not.I recommend a wiring diagram be included with the mirror.

It was ok
There were couple things I disliked about the mirror....First was how shiny black it isSecondly and the most important was the fact the cord was too short to connect and I'm unable to use the mirror without manually adjusting it

Check wiring before you buy this.
This did bolt in place on the 1996 Camry, but check you current mirror as this mirror has the wire running out of it and my Camry has the wiring as a plug in and the two plugs are both female so they will not plug together, and the wires are a different color. And have not yet used my volt meter to see can cut and splice them. So right now the mirror is not plugged in.

Closest i could find to oem mirror. Bought one from some aftermarket bodyshop...first.. Realized it was rubbish when i saw this one. Doorman. Thank you.

Power plug doesn’t fit
The mirror installed easily. However, the power plug doesn’t connect to the car wires which is a big disappointment.

Wrong bolt threading/size
My only complaint is the OEM bolts that fasten the OEM mirror in are far too small for this mirror. Grab some (3) M6-1.0 x 14 bolts for the replacement work.
