Are you kidding me? The "protective film" on ALL surfaces of this picture frame peels off about as well as a price sticker - you know the ones - you never quite get all the paper or sticky glue off. You WILL be at it with your finger nails. You will NOT get all the adhesive off. You WILL be looking at your photo through goo or scratches. Don't bother buying this.All. Four. Surfaces. I've got better things to do with my time. And better frames to spend my money on. Zero stars.

I wish I would have read the reviews before buying this. All the reviews mentioning how impossible it is to get the “protective paper” off the clear plastic frame pieces are 100% accurate. I’ve been at it for over 30 minutes and haven’t even finished one side of one piece. My fingers are killing me. Imagine trying to peal a shipping label off a cardboard box where, if you’re lucky, you’ll get a big chunk to come off, but then you have to scrape the rest off with your fingernails. Except with this even a “big” piece is only a couple of inches if lucky. And what protection does it offer if you have to work on it forever, smudging and scraping the plastic just to get the protection off? A frame should not be this difficult to be used. Absolutely ridiculous.

This was one of the worse purchases I've made in recent years. The frame got knocked off the counter, total accident and not anything foreseeable, and the corners cracked and broke where the short legs came out of the frame. This design is just awful and I won't be buying this type of frame again.

It's a beautiful frame. I bought a parchment for my daughter's birthday & it looks expensive in this frame. I'd buy it again. My one complaint is that protective covering. Absolutely awful. Surely you can come up with a better way to protect the frame.

Ok so the resulting frame is great. And I'm glad it has anti scratch protective film ...but it can be very difficult to remove. There are no tabs to use in order to start peeling them so you have to keep scratching to get it started. Then once you get it, it doesn't come off easily as seen in the picture. Worth the effort though. Nice, firm and clean acrylic.

This is the first time I have felt compelled to write a review on Amazon because I want to prevent this from happening to others. I bought 2 of these. It took me 40 minutes to peel the paper off the acrylic. There is a paper adhered to both sides of each piece of acrylic and when you peel it off, it comes off in little ripped pieces. I tried using a credit card to help lift the film off and it ended up scratching some of the surface. There are so many other options from other sellers for acrylic frames...buy one from another seller that does not have this paper adhered to it!!! Please save yourself the frustration.

I made a super cute gift with a pic of my husband and I at a steelers game and then added our names in calligraphy and a cute saying with a paint pen. Turned out great, he has it at work on his desk, so worth it, Great value

The final product looks OK but there's something ANNOYING enough for me to write this review. There are 2 panels that fasten together to make up the frame. each piece has a "protective layer" on each side that needs to be removed. The film is so thin and is stuck on so tightly that it rips off in pieces. You have to do that 4 times and you'll get fingerprints all over. Once it's assembled, it looks OK. The quality is quite flimsy but gets the job done.
