It grows
Everything depends on your own scent which is why I love body oils. My sister who bought it for me as a gift said it smells like dirt along with the two imp ears that came with it. Which was Dee and Nosferatu...For me my favorite was the nosferatu. The Embalming fluid is very strong when going on and kinda reminds me of cleaning products which is probably the lemon notes. being labled as having notes of aloe, lemon, green tea, and white musk. Perhaps being a redhead that burns it kinda reminds me of burn gels. So when I put it on I wasn't impressed and sad. Yet a few hours later as my own scent mixed in I was pleased the strong scent faded and fit nicely into a summer night setting with a clean and kinda tropical scent. It is a long lasting scent for me and is one where if I was going out for a long night probably going to be sweating a lot I would choose this scent. BPAL is an amazing company and have ordered from them before and am always pleased and can't help but be happy with the imp ears they send so you can try different scents. to see what works and doesn't. Always love getting extra presents!

Beautiful, fresh springy scent!
I wear this fragrance in my BPAL scent locket and I love it. It's so fresh and clean! I'm a sucker for lemon & tea scents - but this one is by far my favorite. I love when you find a perfume that makes you think "Who smells so GOOD?!...oh. That's ME!"

My So-Called Walking Death
I go to Murillo Middle School, which, if you don't know, was attacked by zombies last fall. So now I'm like a zombie. And it's not just me. It's all of us. Basically, one got into the pep rally. So one minute we're all chanting "Go, team, go!," and the next minute we're just chanting "Waaaaahhh". Not really words. So, yeah.Other than that, I have to say, not a lot has changed. Kids still wander the halls with their mouths hanging open. The teachers drone on and on and no one understands what they're saying. And we're all obsessed with One Direction--whichever one the last scream came from. J.K. (For reals tho, Zayn has never looked yummier.)In some ways, it's actually brought us closer together. The jocks are a little nicer. Nobody really picks on anyone anymore, because it's basically us against the living. And also I think it's made me somewhat deeper of a person, because I used to only be into guys for their bods, but now I'm into their brains. The only thing I'm not into is the smell. If you think puberty is bad, try rigor mortis. So gross. But this stuff makes you smell like you almost have a pulse. Which around here really gets you noticed. The guys are all over me. Including creepy Justin Haverman, who locked himself in the cafeteria, and--granted--is still alive, but it's like, As if. I'd rather get shot in the head. For reals.

A clean medicinal scent gives way to something amazingly complex
Embalming Fluid is a blend of white musk, green tea, aloe and lemon.Straight from the bottle I thought "Oh no. This isn't for me." but thought it would be good in a room spray. Then decided to give it another chance. In the bottle and fresh applied- it's very strongly lemon. Not pure, sweet lemon, and the green tea keeps it from smelling like furniture polish, but the overwhelming impression is "Clean" and slightly medicinal. Then after it's had a little time on your skin, the aloe comes out and smells green, then the musk comes out and modulates the whole thing into something else entirely. It doesn't smell overly lemony anymore and it's really nice. The oils will work differently on different people, and if you use it in a scent locket or on a handkerchief where it won't be warmed and changed by body chemistry- it may be something else entirely.I'm glad I gave it a chance. It's lovely- a good summer daytime scent.

Best oils you can ever find!
I have been using Embalming Fluid for years. It has a very crisp, fresh, almost a bit lemony smell to it. Beth and Brian make the best oils you can buy ANYWHERE! If you've never tried perfume oils, you will be hooked. Much better than any perfume. The scent lasts for days on your body (given you don't bathe teehee) I like to add a few drops to my bath water, lotion, and a couple drops in my shampoo so the scent sticks in your hair. I also add a few drops to distilled water to create a spray. These oils are worth the money. Good quality.
