First of all, if you do any kind of maintenance on your bike - even washing it, a stand makes life so much easier. If you're doing any kind of repairs, a stand is a must. If you're on the fence about investing in a stand, get one. You won't regret it. On to the review of this stand. I was a little surprised at how heavy and sturdy this stand is. The four legs are beefy spread out really wide, so there's no concern about it tipping. The fold-out feet is also a nice feature. They come in handy when washing the bike in the grass and the ground gets soft from the water. The knobs are chunky and make it easy to adjust. While I did notice a little rotation in the boom arm with the clamp if the bike is not centered properly, it's not really a concern. just center the bike. It may be an issue if you're really yanking or pounding on your bike (removing a stuck head tube cup), or if you must clamp it to the seat tube, but otherwise, it holds the bike firmly. I completely disassembled and reassembled a Trek FX bike on this stand and I was never worried about the bike becoming loose or falling off. As with anything that has plastic parts that clamp, be careful not to overtighten. There is really no need to torque down super tight. When comparing it to more expensive stands that have two or three legs and look a little thinner, it's obvious the value here is very high. The price of this stand is so low that it suggests it's inferior, but it's not compared to anything up to $100. This is a great stand and a great value. If I could change anything about this stand, I would make the clamping collars metal. I have not had any issues with the plastic ones, but metal is always better. Other than that, the Yaheetech stand does everything right for a very low cost.

Good for the price. I’m not doing any highly technical repairs on my bike, not is this in use constantly, I just wanted to be able to get it off the floor to clean, change tires, etc. it’s sturdy without being too heavy and easy to set up.

Have you tried to purchase a new bicycle in 2021? Almost every manufacturer is sold out and back-ordered until 2022 due to COVID. As a result of the pandemic many people have turned to cycling to stay in shape, because going to the gym is such risky business. Others are hopping on their bikes just to get out of the house. In any case, if you're looking to upgrade your ride like I am, we're all S-O-L for the moment. As a result, I am going to have to maintain my old mountain bike for at least another season, and try to upgrade that existing bike whenever and however possible. This is why I've just purchased something I had never imagined owning before: a bicycle repair work stand. Not knowing where to begin, I looked at what all the bike shops were using, which were the stands from Park Tool. But these stands cost several hundred dollars, and I couldn't justify spending that sort of money on a stand to maintain a bicycle that couldn't fetch $50 trade in value. Well thank goodness for Amazon, for Yaheetech, and for the many reviewers who recommended this stand. Although it is among the least expensive options that I could find anyplace on the internet, it is a tool of very good quality. For about the cost of getting your drivetrain lubed at your local bike shop, you can purchase this stand and then easily do your own lube jobs at a fraction of the cost for the rest of your life. As I removed each component from its shipping carton I immediately noted how solid each piece felt. This is no light-weight piece of junk -- it has some beef to it. It feels solid. It feels sturdy. The heft of this stand impressed me significantly and gave me confidence in this tool. This means enough strength to support even the heaviest of bicycles, and enough weight that it doesn't slide all around as you are trying to work. Still, the stand is far from being over-built. It is still light enough to be easily carried around. And because of the way the stand folds and collapses, it is just as convenient to store and/or transport. The grabber clamp is coated with a thick layer of plastic which helps to protect the bike’s finish from the metal components of the clamp. The clamping hardware is all steel, with bolts terminating in seated nuts for high strength and long-lasting durability, rather than depending on threaded plastic parts. The grabber arm is 360 degrees adjustable, so that it can either grab the bike's horizontal crossbar or its vertical seat post. One instructions were sparse, depending more on a few less-than-clear diagrams. Despite that, the pieces of the stand go together intuitively, and it only took ten minutes to assemble. I was interested to notice that little text that the instructions did contain was in both English and German language. In this day and age I pretty much automatically assume that such an inexpensive product on Amazon must be manufactured in China. But those German language instructions make me wonder if this stand was manufactured in Germany, or was at least designed there. I can say that this stand has the feel of German engineering. The only real shortcoming I could find with this stand is that while the grabber arm might be 360 degrees adjustable, its clamp mechanism is made of plastic and holds its position by friction only rather than any sort of teeth or other mechanical stops. If you clamp a bike by the vertical seat post (as is the more proper method) the bicycle may not be balanced, and the friction of the clamp alone will not hold that unevenly distributed weight horizontal. I do wish that the clamp on the arm relied on some sort of mechanical leveling clamp, but that is a component that would certainly increase the cost of this otherwise competitively priced stand. In the end, I'm happy enough with the trade-offs of the inexpensive price and the simple design features. There are plenty of easy enough workarounds for leveling a bicycle on the stand. If you're a pro working on bikes in a shop every day you would probably do well to opt for a more expensive stand with some of the features lacking on this stand. But if you're like me and just need a stand to do some of your own basic maintenance and repairs, this is an inexpensive but high quality way to get started.

I have 2 new e-bikes that I want to keep in top condition. My first task is applying ceramic coat to the paint. It’s a lot of work bending over to prep and apply a ceramic coating so I thought a stand would be a little easier on my back. After some searching, I decided on this Yaheetech stand. The price was right and the reviews pretty good. I was just hoping the quality was at least OK and suitable for my light use. So far I am very impressed. The installation instructions are pretty simple. No words, just pictures but the pictures were all I needed. The base was the first part to take out. The legs fold open. You can decide just how open you want them for stability depending on the weight of the bike and how high you want it. My bikes are on the heavy end so I spread the feet all the way out. A simple cam clamp locks it in place. I did have to screw the clamp in a few turns to get the right tension when clamped. There was nothing in the directions about this but it is pretty obvious so no real issue there. The extension then slides into the base and tightens with the same cam system. At the top is the grabber extension that holds the bike. This piece is held in by tightening a star wheel instead of the cam clamps used on the other parts. This part can be rotated to match the position of the part of the bike you are clamping. The clamping end is a thick plastic to protect your bike from scratches. My bikes do not have cross bars, so I need to clamp to the seat post. In this case I just rotated the extension so the clamp is vertical. This is the one place that I realized I would have a small issue. If you clamp on a cross member of you bike, the clamp would be horizontal allowing you to rest the cross bar on the clamp while you clamped it tight. In my case you need to hold a heavy bike in the clamp and close the clamp at the same time. With a heavy bike, this is a 2-person job, one to hold the bike and one to clamp it. Finally, there is a small rod with rubber straps at either end that you can use in several different ways to help stabilize the bike. For example, if you don’t want the handlebars to move you can strap this rod to the handlebars and then to the stand. It is circled in blue in one of my pictures. As I unpacked and installed the parts I was impressed with how the parts looked and felt. They are all well painted, the plastic parts are thick and sturdy looking, the steel looks heavy duty, there was nothing cheap looking. When assembled It felt and looked solid. Tight fit on all of the joints, no play, and when I hung my 45-pound e-bike on it, the stand didn’t bend, bow, twist, or argue in any way with the weight I just put on it. The stand will handle 57 pounds and based on how it handles my 45-pound bike I have no doubt that it will in fact handle a 57-pound bike. In spite of the weight of the parts, the stand easily folds up and is light enough to move around and will store in a very tight space. So far, the only concern I see is minor and at this point not an issue for me. The grabber extension rotates 360 degrees but there are no hard stops and only a friction fit tightened with a star wheel. My bike, when using the seat post to clamp rests with the front tire closer to the ground than the rear. If I loosen the star wheel and rotate the bike so the wheels are level and tighten the star wheel, the grabber extension rotates back to a vertical position. Since I don’t need the tires to be level, it is not an issue for me but something you should be aware of. And for the price, this is a minor issue. This is by far the best stand in this price range. I think you could spend a lot more and not get a better stand. Stop looking. This is definitely the stand you want.

This was my first bike stand; I'm an exacting customer and was very impressed with the quality and value of this product. It's very well designed and built - e.g., it's sturdy/solid, and quick release clamps work well. I have heavy ebikes and one mistake I made was not tightening the clamp on the seat post enough. This bike slid down a bit while I was working on it the first time and the seat base dug into the red plastic protector on the clamp. This was a user error and when I tightened the clamp properly there was not problem. The instructions could be clearer on this point There was a defect in the base on the original product I got, but the Yaheetech customer service was very responsive and quickly sent a replacement. I'm very pleased with this this purchase and the Yaheetech customer service experience.

After looking at all of the other types of Bicycle Repair Stands that are available on Amazon. And reading the reviews about them and this Yaheetech Bike Repair Stand. I was kind of reluctant to buy it at first because I was actually looking at the older version. That has the plastic knobs on all the parts of that particular model. It wasn’t until I found the new and improved design that has self tightening levers on it. Once I took a good look at it I was convinced that it was a better design than the original version. And most of the other models with the same plastic knobs on them that people were complaining about them either breaking or not working properly. I actually received my new version Yaheetech Bike Repair Stand earlier than I expected. Because when I went to look at the progress of getting it shipped out to me. It said sorry but your Yaheetech Bike Repair Stand will not arrive until Monday which is actually today. But to my surprise I received a email stating that it had arrived Saturday morning. So I quickly went to my front door and lo and behold there it was just sitting there waiting for me to come and get it. Run into my garage and started putting it together which was very easy by the way. The assembly instructions were just some basic pictures of how to put it together and it probably took me about fifteen minutes. And I had it together then threw my Mountain Bike on it as you can see in the picture. The new Yaheetech Bike Repair Stand is definitely better than I originally expected. Especially with the new levers that make it so much easier to use. The piece that actually holds the bike up I had read in some reviews was just a cheap plastic type of clamp. Not sure if they were talking about the older version or what because the one I have. The clamp is actually made out of a hard rubber and I don’t see that breaking any time soon. On a parting note I would like to say that the Yaheetech customer service team is amazing. I sent them a few emails and they got right back to me by the very next day.

Works! Easy to put together.

It is a good solid stand made mostly from heavy metal, but it does have a couple of problems. (I will use part names from the instructions to explain.) First, the clamp between the "telescopic bar" and the "upright" is plastic. It arrived broken in the box. Whoever boxed it should understand that if you put it in the box broken, the customer will remove it from the box broken. I did not return it as broken because I was able to Gorilla Glue it back together and it works fine; it clamps tight enough to hold the telescopic bar in place. Second, the "bike support stand" (the horizontal bar at the top that holds the bike), when attached to the seat support does not grip tight enough to hold the bike in the position I set because there is too much weight from the front of the bike. The torque causes the bike to rotate until the front wheel is on the ground. That is not enough for me to return the stand because I seldom work on the front wheel and if I do I can attach the stand to the top horizontal of the bike frame. I think they could fix the problem by not making the "bike support stand" so smooth, give that part a sandpaper like finish or put rubber fingers inside the clamp so the part does not slip under the torque from the weight of the front of the bike. I might rough up the stand part with sandpaper, or put small grooves in it to give the clamp something to grip on to see if that solves the problem. Third, the clamp holding the bike frame even at full tight will not keep the bike from rotating around the frame. It is not enough for me to send the stand back, just a minor annoyance. The problem is there is smooth plastic trying to clamp a smooth metal frame. I think they could fix this by putting thin rubber pads in the clamp. I will probably run out and get some pads to try that out. I think it is a good stand for the price. The stand itself is made from much heavier metal than I expected. It is very stable with the four legs. I easily overcame all the issues so I kept it.

Hey everybody come and see how good I look....I could cannonball right off a diving board with this rack and the bike would be still attached. I mean it's no large wooden ship and while I do love lamp I would say 60 per cent of the time this thing works 100 percent of the time. I was headed out to the pants store to get some new suits and came upon this rack when Wes man tooth was chasing me on his bike and didn't buy it right away so I said to myself I immediately regret this decision and went and got a place with Ron and purchased this rack....it sits right beside my rich mahogany amongst my many leather bound books. I called Ed from my glass box of emotion to let him know that milk was a bad choice. He told me get this bike rack or Im putting V on to do the news. So I got this rack and things escalated quite quickly and I must say even though my burrito is very filling this rack is great. I did have a bit of an issue when I told San Diego off but now that I was able to change into my suit in the local bar washroom ...I look good I look real good....and this bike rack makes me look even better.....get it.

Great stand easy to use comes with a tray to mount on the stand and swing bar for front tire . Will hold up a mountain bike for months and never change its position. Very strong 💪

Yes, I would have liked to get a better-quality one of these on which to work on my bikes, but I just don't have the $cratch to spare right now (and I got this pretty cheap - it was on sale, PLUS I had a coupon). For its price, this thing is good enough for occasionally working on bikes; however if you'll be using it all day, every day, I'd look elsewhere. The parts quality is quite alright, for the most part. Not the best, but quite alright. All the parts were intact, even though it came in a beaten-up box. The assembly was a cinch - super-easy, and took almost no time at all. I like that the stand collapses easily, too, as I don't have much room at my place, really. As long as you're smart in the way you use it (eg: don't over-tighten things, including the clamp that holds the bike), this stand should be all you need. However, I could see things getting broken over time if there is constant over-tightening of, say, the quick-release clamps, for example. But again, as long as you're reasonable with the use of this stand, it's good enough for occasional to moderate use. I do notice that when I clamp my bike up by the seat post, the clamp's arm torques quite a bit. That's the main thing I have to keep an eye on with this stand. On a heavy-ish bike that I have (probably around 35+ pounds), there's some twisting of that clamp arm. That could also be b/c of the way I have the arm set up, now that I think about it while I write this. If I clamp the arm into the main post at the same angle at which it rests upon twisting, I might be able to avoid the torque altogether. In any case, I'm fairly confident that this stand will last me as long as I need it, provided I use it within reason. I'd recommend getting this if you need something on the cheap for relatively occasional use, and if you don't have a super-heavy bike (I don't think I'd put a 60+ pound electric bike on this, for example). I'd say 40lbs max. (comfortably) 4/5 stars. Not the best, but good enough for the money for occasional to moderate use.
