Great book
I initially bought this book for my own use, but now it has gone viral within my company. All managers have a copy. We are using it as a guide to quality as we move forward with future release. The second half of the book is not that great, but the principles are what are most important. If you have a software company that is struggling with quality issues, this is the book to read.Although it was written back in the 80's, the concepts are timeless.

Timeless Classic
Unlike some of Crosby's books, where the material is getting very dated, this one is pretty timeless. Phil was a good author, with an approachable style and easy read. Where this book differs is that he makes extensive use of vignettes and other stories to demonstrate management principles that are as relevant today as when the book was written 25 years ago. I would recommend it to any manager.

Great read
Talks about the same top management that didn't listen to me and the company paid the price.

Crosby Did a Good Job Again
Phil Crosby has a good manner of presentation, making his books easy to read and his presentations clear and easy to understand. Unfortunately, most US managers will not follow his directions as US business schools care little about manufacturing quality, only cheapness.

Good book, needs updating.
Material is a little out if date, but still good.

Outstanding theories and easy to put into practice
Outstanding theories and easy to put into practice. Readers should understand that the practices I'll not solve every QC problem but they help get everyone on the same page.

Its more simple than we're making it.
Although Mr Crosby is no longer with us, his ideas have been around since the space program started making rockets that didn't blow up.In short:- make it right - don't make it wrong. It sounds simple, but you need to define what is right in the first place. You need to figure out how to make it right, and what do we do about the stuff that is only a "little bit wrong"? This book simply tells you about what you already knew but never think about. It also tells you how to get the whole company to work this way AND SAVE CASH!!!The down side is that it talks about how his own company consults, which, given the age of the book is less relevant. Its not a fad "instant fix" book, and not just about Manufacturing either. The concepts here apply to a post office, a call center, a dress shop, or even your own life. Not enough people own this book.

very pleased with the current condition
i purchased this book in Used condition and have no regrets, very pleased with the current condition, no ripped corners or comments inside. Although it feels as if this book was on the shelf for years and years and pages has turned yellow, the special smell goes but all look good for me.... even I would say that it slightly brings the feeling of something nostalgic...:)))
