Hinged Shell Junction Box with Lock Hole

These are great project boxes. Very sturdy with standard breadboard inserts.

Box worked perfect for mounting on a 6 inch column on our outdoor pergola. Needed something small enough to house a lighting control box, some remotes and an older fire TV box and it all fit in nicely.

There are high quality boxes. I've a few different sizes in service in my garage for an automated dust collection system for a few years now and they have worked perfectly. The grid piece on the bottom made it easy to mount circuit components on standoffs and the lid seals really well to keep dust and whatnot out. The clear lid makes it easy to see lights and displays I have mounted inside. I mean, mostly it's just a box, right, but these are really great quality.

I have rated this box with only 4 stars since I have not been able to put it in service yet. However this hinged box certainly has many good features making it a great product. It is well constructed with a good rubber gasket around the lid. It also has two nice toggle clamps to secure the lid. I like these features along with a clear cover allowing visibility for the box contents. My use of the box is to house a key pad for my gate opener. This security and water resistance makes this a dandy box for my use. I am in the process of mounting the key pad/box near my gate to allow the contents to be seen as well as protect the electronics from the sun and moisture.

Very well built, installed a temperature monitoring board and several cords thru waterproof connectors. It seems to be very sturdy and the latches work very well. Great for small electronic projects.

Great product for smaller electrical projects that require water tightness.

We actually use this to store our remotes for our outdoor tv/entertainment center. It was way cheaper than any other thing I could find and is incredibly sturdy. I took out the plate that supports the circuit/board/whatever to give us some more room. It holds 4-5 remotes easily. Also, bonus, it came with the parts to affix it to the wall. I know its not the use case it was made for, but this thing is great!

Worked fantastic. Used it to mount my megasquirt ECU in my car and have it waterproof. The little holes make it accept most ECU mounting.

Great enclosure for my load cell project. I used this box to house a load cell summing board for a scale I’m building. It’s solid, waterproof, and keeps everything protected. The clear cover is very useful because I can easily see the display and monitor the weight without opening the box. There is plenty of space inside for wiring and components. The hinged design makes it simple to access when needed. If you need a reliable enclosure for load cells, sensors, or other electrical projects, this one works very well.

Specifically bought this product (and another of the same product line but different size) because it was clearly advertised with a transparent lid. Clearly not transparent.

Perfect for outdoor meter readers. Has held up through a year in all seasons with no signs of wear. Was easy to mount.
