Man let me tell you this makes a BIG BIG BIG BRIGHT BRIGHT difference especially for when I do location work in darker conditions. Yes, as you can see it works just fine in my flashpoint 1220m as you see the pictures. There’s really nothing more I can say however I will give you the pros and I guess “con” of itPros:Super bright which is what I neededThere’s light IN FRONT of the housing!WAAAAAAY cooler temps, almost no tempsStandard m26/27 size for standard connections.Low cost but not low quality by any means. It’s well built.“Cons”:it’s big and large... fine by me but for others thinking they are getting the standard size, think again. It’s a biggon!So for my photographer buddies in the Amazon world, you CAN use this light in your studio strobes as I am clearly in the pictures. However, look at the close up and you can see I ordered and using the extender. DO NOT straight install this because that strobe WILL pop it and will burn it. Get that extender and you’ll be totally fine.This is not the dimmable version BUT for those using the light to turn off after ever pop, it will do so. Does not eat any power at all especially for you full poppers.If you don’t mind these barter .50cals hanging from your strobe making it look like a big MG42 with a large muzzle, then get these! I got the cooler version not the brown/yellow 5500’s. Still totally white balanced in camera.

Very bright, light bulb. I use this in an outside garage lamp, controlled by a wireless remote. It lights up my whole area with one bulb, is smaller than anything of a similar power and works very well. It is bright white, and very low heat.

I put three of these above my bathroom sink in the vanity fixture without informing my GF. She turned them on for the first time after a hard night of drinking to remove her contacts before she passed out. I heard a scream. A shrill shriek of terror and pain. Believing she had just been slashed at the throat, I ran up the stairs to rescue her. After what seemed to be an eternity of a profanity laced tirade, she revealed the source of her violent discomfort. It was the brightness of the lights. She did not approve. She thought I was insane and in need of a visual exam. I love them. I bought more. They are amazing. They are bright. I dont know how many watts. But you cant look a them.

I bought 3 of these in 2021. 2 for the front porch and 1 for the back porch.The back porch light didn't last long at all...Like less than 3 hours of use. The 2 front porch lights are still going strong. VERY bright.We literally don't use them very often and when we do, they are only used for a few minutes.The 2 front porch lights still have less than 5 hours of use on them in the 3 1/2 years I've had them.With that being said, I am ordering another one today to replace the back porch that didn't last long at all.

I was a little concerned that it would be OVERWHELMING in the house. I use it in my favorite lamp ( with a lamp shade ) in the middle of the living room. It was definitively striking at first but now I would not want to be with out it. I have 500 watt halogen work lamps and used to have numerous indoor 500 watt halogen floor lamps, this bulb generates more light than those halogen bulbs but it is not blinding and HOT. It has over 100 led "bulbs" dispersed over 360 degrees and on top so the light is evenly spread out and the bulb does not get hot. I am ordering another one for a hanging lamp in my office.

Blew within a few weeks of using it and no longer works. Other bulbs I plug in work just fine, so it’s not the outlet. I’ve tried it in other bulb locations, and can’t get it to work anywhere. I’m outside the return window so I can’t return it. I’d recommend going with another product.

I put this in my light on my garage to cover the driveway with light and it works great and goid price too

Used in my two car garage. Only one light on the ceiling, with the garage door opener mounted right in front of it. I was impressed with the instant light when I turned on the switch, no warm up was needed. It puts out a lot of light, making the laundry room/garage useable.This replaced a three wing bulb that died when we lost power in a storm a number of times. This one is much better.
