Why, if these are "never flat" tires, do they have valve stems?

Let me be plain and open about the tires. They do not have ANY foam inside and are not NEVER FLAT tires. That is patently false. I bought mine a couple of years ago and nothing has changed except the price is 34%+ higher (Forget the "MSRP")

has anyone replaced the tires with flat free tires? If so can you list what tire you purchased? Can't seem to find a tire this size in flat free.

That is an excellent question.  Please use and/or modify this product at your own risk, and understand what I'm about to tell you is based on my personal use and opinion, and other people may not have the same experience.  Whew!  Now that is over...  The short answer is:  NO.  The long answer is:  NO, BUT I believe it's do-able.  I think you will need to find tires of approximately the same size that have the proper size axle housing.  I just measured with calipers, and the threaded shaft where the nylon-locking nut threads on is .604 inches / 15.34 mm.  That means it's almost certainly a 5/8 shaft.  That's good news, because there are a LOT of wheels / hubs that use 5/8 shaft.  I would recommend you check Amazon first.  Then check Harbor Freight Tools.  Then check Northern Tools.  One of those 3 places should have something you can use.  BUT, brace yourself for sticker shock.  I have priced the no-flat wheelbarrow tires in the past (can't remember axle size?), and I have seen them up to $40 each.  As a side note, I actually did a video on YouTube recently, if you want to see this cart in motion.  Just search for the name of the cart, and my video should come up.  I'll bet you'll have almost as much $ in the no-flat wheels as you paid for the cart originally, but I believe it CAN be done.  If money is no object, I'd say by all means do it.  I would be interested to hear how it works out for you.  That being said, the good news is I think the tires will hold up nicely as they are up to 100# or less but maybe more?  The weight rating claim for this product at 500# is ridiculous.  Yes, it probably can hold 500# stationary without failing, BUT it is absolutely NOT practical / realistic to move 500# with this cart (unless this is all you have, and then still...), and I will stand behind that.   Pay special attention to the pivot shaft, axle shafts and mounting brackets on this cart if you modify this this cart.  It's my opinion the cart is OK, but the manufacturer sacrificed rigidity / strength for weight in the design.  Again, it's OK, but not great.  That being said, it's the best option I've found so far for what I want, and I would rather have it than not have it.  Good luck, and I really am interested to hear if you modify this cart and how it works out for you!
