Didn't realize how much use I'd get out of this shelf. Got it for extra counter space in the kitchen. Was very easy to install as long as you have a reliable stud finder. Operates easily up and down. Folds down to just a few inches off the wall so it's out of the way when not in use. Shelf is well made, fairly thick and hasa a nice finish to it. Overall I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I got this workbench in white because I wanted to install it in my bathroom which is primarily white. This workbench will be used as a table for an expected newborn. Overall, the table looks great and fit my needs. I submitted alot of pictures so I hope it is helpful. The one concern I have is how the table will be "unlock" to fold the table. It is a lever under the table in which I am concern of accidentally pressing. However.... The instruction was fairly simple...too simple. I had to read a few times to brainstorm the overall installation and its location before I proceed. So here are some of my suggestions (see attached pictures). 1) the table is approximately 43" wide and 18" deep. I prefer this depth because where I was going to place it. 2) you will need additional tools: level balance ruler, drill, pencil and Velcro sticker. I would suggest a power screwdriver too. 3) there are no templates for where these holes will be drilled, so you will need to place these hardware against the wall surface and use the pencil to mark holes where you will be drilling. Use the beam lever to help with alignment. When installing these screws, set the power screwdriver to provide just enough torque to slowly screw them in as they are about the exact same size as those pre-drill holes on the brackets. 4) when installing the table, please make sure you provide at least 3/8" gap between the table and the wall. Slightly smaller gap is fine too, but you WILL NEED that gap in order to fold the table. Folding the table requires you to slightly lift up in order to press the release lever at the bottom. I use the foam that protects the table as it is approximately 3/8" thickness. 5) Imagine the table mounted and folded down. Make sure you have a least a 2 1/4" gap clearance for anything that will be opened (like a drawer) in front of it and also enough clearance underneath the table too when drawers are slide opened. I overlooked this when I brainstorm. I was only concerned about the door opening but not the drawer opening. I also overlooked that I have a "flip open lid" trash can. So with the trashcan under the folded table, I am not able to flip open the trash can. doh! and doh!! See pics. 4) when the table is folded, it will not be "flat" against the mounted wall, but will be slightly tilted. Press on the table and it will mount flat and parallel against the wall. However, I recommend you get a felt sticker on the unlock lever so it will not scratch the wall.

Second purchase of this item, and it's a great solution for a temporary work surface as long as you keep in mind it is not for heavy loads. The surface itself is super sturdy and looks great, but the folding supports are fairly light. They work great, however, and haven't malfunctioned in several years of use. The supports could probably be replaced with heavier duty versions if that was required for your purposes, but I'm very satisfied with this folding table top which I use for an electronics work bench.

Getting the brackets on the wall was easy enough. We kept them closer than is probably ideal to ensure they were in the stud. Attaching the shelf to the brackets was another story. So some words of advice: First, when figuring out where to screw the bracket into the table top, make sure everything is STRAIGHT! After an embarrassing amount of time, I get everything installed to find it wouldn’t fold flat. Second, use chalk or light colored pen to make holes. It’s almost impossible to use drill bit on the table while on brackets (and probably not safe), so mark it! Third, use that drill bit. Fourth, get either a long screw driver or extra long bit driver to screw on. Screws have to be flush for the table to fold correctly. Once on, it does look nice and seems sturdy.

We homeschool and have a small house. This is the perfect work place for the kids during school hours and easily saves our square footage for when school is done. It’s definitely a heavy table! They must’ve got the message that their hardware was not good because this came with great screws! Not brittle like some posts have complained about. It’s a good purchase for the intended use. We give it 5 stars.

This is a great table. I would have given it more stars, but it was very challenging to set up. It’s perfect for my laundry room though.

Very pleased with table. Hubby and son said it was easy to install. It's a perfect folding table in my small laundry area. I like that when table is not in use it folds against the wall. It's easy to open but kind of a pain to put down but don't let that stop you from buying this table. I sit on a stool and put both feet on the two buttons to push to close. I would buy it again.

I love this, lots of reviews about the screws being too small but they must have fixed that Easy to put together and install, sturdy and durable. For me it adds so much room but allows for space when not in use Best money I have spent in some time
