Great product if used properly
Read the reviews and not sure I agree with the negative ones. Had a packaging issue which the seller has an immediate response to make right. Additionally, I put these cubes in a small glass and they work perfectly. I can actually use them for multiple drinks and they still cool. I can see where they may not be effective in a tall glasss with just a few cubes as the basic law of physics would apply in that there is just too much volume to cool. However, I fill a smal glass up with cubes and can pour multiple drinks over the cubes and they work fantastic. Takes a couple minutes to cool it down but nothing extensive and Iโve been using them like this for 3 glasses at a time. Great product, rinse them to clean, and a good alternative to conventional ice. I would recommend. If you want to pour multiple larger glasses, just make sure to fill it up with the cubes first. Multiple high glasses will take more cubes. Really great product. Didnโt want to write the review until I had a chance to test them. I would recommend.

They Really Work
We store these little cubes in the freezer and drop them in drinks as we serve them. They do cool drinks and keep the drinks cool although not quite as cooling as ice. BUT they do not melt and dilute drinks, so that is important especially with wine. They easily rinse, and we pop them back in a quart size baggie in the freezer. We keep one bag for lunch wine and another for our dinner wine. We have used them for a few months now and non of the have split or broken. We think it was a good and useful purchase.

Quality Slow!
This company stands behind their product. I was torn between choices, but these were a decent price for the quantity, color options & convenient storage canister. I read the insert & followed instructions. Placed them in my freezer door. 24 hours later- they hadnโt fully frozen. The email for my purchase had instruction to follow up directly w/ the company- I obliged. And had a genuine response in less than 24 hours w/ apologies & the option to refund or replace the set w/ a brand new one to try- they are standing by their product. I agreed. The replacement set arrived 2 days ago. Fast forward: same results. I even placed each container in separate areas of the freezer. One in the door & one in the far back. Each are taking approximately 2-3 days for all 30 cubes to FULLY freeze. What I have learned: placement in the container doesnโt matter. Cubes placed around the exterior edge donโt freeze any quicker than the ones buried in the middle. It takes about 72 hours total for the entire 30 cubes to freeze. Roughly 1/3 every 24 hours. BUT, re-freezing seems to happen more quickly. I noticed the 12 I used & stuck back in had frozen within the same say, just hours later. So I feel like that is the trick: wait a few days, use them & re-freeze for a quicker, more consistent result. With that backstory- I am pleased with these, overall. I am finding that the initial freeze takes longest, they do need to run through that first โtest cycleโ, then re-freezing & using gives a proper result. The price is on point for 30 cubes w/ a storage canister (plus fun colors to choose), the frozen cubes remain solid for longer than 1 hour (even using the โicedโ setting on my Keurig spitting hot water to make iced tea), there is absolutely 0 taste/aftertaste, & these are extremely easy to clean! The quality seems to be solid, as there are no cracks, leaks or evidence of structural compromise. Mild antibacterial soap & water are perfectly good to clean them. They arenโt collecting residue or being stained from darker drink colors. I think you really get your moneyโs worth with these if you have the patience to wait & do an initial test freeze. Most admirable- the customer service & care to stand behind their product is what stands out. I would much rather give my business to an entity like this that welcomes resolution & constructive criticism. These are really easy & quality, Iโm glad I opted to try. Plus, from a scientific point of view: the reason they take longer to freeze & thaw is due to quality material. It is apparent you arenโt getting cheap, flimsy material- much appreciated! Sometimes the good things take patience, and the result is equally rewarding.

Absolutely love these!
My husband and I wanted to get these because we got a sodastream and wanted a way to cool it down without watering down our drink. These work perfectly! Here are some tips for using them since others seem to not understand heat transfer at all: -First time you freeze them, let them have a few days to freeze! It takes a couple days the very first time but after that only half a day or less to refreeze -Use at least 5-6 in a normal 8-12oz cup! Otherwise, you will think they aren't working. But less than 4-5 cubes will not do well cooling down your drink. You might be able to get away with it if your drink is already cold. But if it's around room temp you're gonna want 6 or more in your drink! -If you use around 6 or more, you can get them to keep your drink relatively cold for a couple hours, if you're like me and like to sip your drink -You can get away with just rinsing them off a couple times before they get sticky/need to be cleaned --I like putting a little soap in a cup and water and putting the cubes in and shaking it around. You can do it with a water bottle too. This gets them pretty clean. You can obviously take a sponge and clean each individually if you want to. That's clearly the best way to make sure they're clean but I like to be lazy sometimes -They tend to have a little extra plastic in what I'm assuming is the spot where they seal them after putting in whatever inside is used to freeze. I make sure to be careful in that spot to make sure that I don't accidently break them open -I wouldn't suggest putting them in a hot drink to cool it down. Not sure what the melting point is for the plastic/silicone it uses, so I wouldn't risk it. Anyways, I love them and love the colored ones so that I don't forget them in my cup and loose any! They work great and are easy to clean! Definitely will buy again (or buy more) in the future!

Dirty ice cubes
I love how I can always have these in my fridge for my water tumbler- I always have ice in it but these are great when I run out or forgot to fill the tray. The size is perfect and they donโt have a funky taste or anything like that. BUT my only hang up is, no matter what I use, or how I try to, I canโt seem to clean these. Almost all of them were super dirty. I was able to get a good bit of this brown/black residue and debris off... however there is so much caked on or just completely stuck on it makes me a tad grossed out considering itโs not part of the product as Iโve cleaned off as much as I could in the beginning.

FINALLY iced coffee perfection!
I didn't know what to expect. There is no taste of plastic. They freeze well and fast. I store them in the container they came in. What I like to do is after I wash them I dry them with a towel. I place them lose in the freezer. I will use the next handful from the container and put the used ones (that are now frozen) back into its container. I have a 10oz mug that I use for hot/cold, tea, and coffee. I use about 5 or 6 cubes. I let it sit maybe 30 seconds tops and my drink is nice and cold! I haven't timed it, but my drinks stay cold the entire time I'm drinking it. Every cube was shipped full of water, with no issues like leaking or deflated. I highly recommend them!

Not what you would expect
I froze these solid and used them in large glasses and in mugs. In every case I found that while they made the drink COOL they did not make it as COLD as if I had used ice - the glasses barely sweated on the outside. I assume that water is used inside the cubes instead of gel - which is the ultimate in safety - but that means the internal frozen temperature does not get as low as is needed to make something really cold. Sorry, but they do not do the job I hoped them to do. That said, it was a good idea, but it needs work. Cool is not cold.
