Easy Fit Buttons for Jeans

I bought these after having trouble getting my designer jeans closed after having a baby. I am trying to avoid having to wear a loose top to cover my "muffin top". These tabs are easy to use, but just don't solve the problem completely. The extend the button about an inch. It makes it so the button would be right on the edge of the jean material. You would be better off just trying to remove and reattach the button as close the edge of possible, and maybe sew on a homemade tab. I could have used 2 inches on the tab, not just one! The colors were not exact matches to my pants but you have to cover it up anyways so the color doesn't matter much. The $ for this was a bit expensive for what you get, and the button holes were too small for my Rock & Republic button...I had to take scissors and lengthen the slit a bit. But the main problem is that the zipper still won't go all of the way up, so I end up having to wear a long shirt just to cover the open zipper fly. Overall this is an ok solution, but could be easily done yourself for much cheaper.

Don't get rid of those jeans that are a bit too snug just yet. These easy fit buttons adds up to 2" of space to button your pants/jeans. I was skeptical at first, but they really work. The only thing that concerns me is I wear low waisted jeans. With these button extenders I feel like my zipper is going to come down. It hasn't fallen yet, but I'm a little nervous to wear a top above my zipper. Besides that I can finally bring out my jeans that I retired due to a snug fit creating that dreaded muffin top. Everything is smooth and comfy now with these.

excellent ------ my wife had used some "shrinking" detergent ;-) on my jeans and they somehow "shrank" while in the wash and they are in excellent condition so I needed a way to correct this so that I could continue to wear them and this item done the job and kept her from going into the doghouse. Thanks and I certainly hope she NEVER reads this comment !!

I got these to make a pair of pants fit a little better. Two pair of pants from the same maker in the same style but different colors and one pair was tight. These worked just fine.I had to make the button hole a little bigger to fit the jeans button in. I just clipped a little deeper.

Keep these on hand for jeans that mistakingly get in the dryer or for a bit of weight gain. Very simple idea, which can be made by a sewer very easily, but just as easy to buy these and have them on hand for emergency use. Good color assortment and will fix almost any pair of jeans or slacks.

My husband has always been slender and has worn the same size jeans for years.Recently we purchased a few new pairs to replace his tired & worn jeans and although they fit everywhere else, the waists were all too snug. We tried a bigger pants size but then they were too big everywhere else. Found these "Jean button waist extenders" and they are perfect!They add either 1/2 inch or 2 inches to the waistband. He found the 1/2 inch extra is all he needed and he can breathe easy again!I recommend them to anyone who could use a little extra breathing room.

Doesn't matter to me that I can't zip right up to the top as I wear my shirts outside the top of my pants. I would have had to give away several pairs of jeans without using these. I don't find them difficult to use, they work just fine for me.

These work great. If you may have put on a little around middle, these will save you from buying a new pair pants.
