GALAX PRO 20V Impact Cordless Driver-1.3 Ah Battery and Charger Included

I used and enjoyed this Galax Pro 1/4" impact driver so much, that given an opportunity to buy a different, theoretically even better, brushless, more powerful model from a different brand, at a bargain price, I jumped at the opportunity. To my surprise, the Galax Pro unit is better. It is easier to modulate the power, and the more powerful, other brand, unit comes on with a surge of power that is much more likely to damage screws (using the same bits). The Galax Pro unit is also lighter, and almost as small. For driving drywall or deck / construction screws, the Galax Pro just works better. It is just sized better for most 2X4 construction uses. Previous review: I liked the 1/4" hex impact driver so much, I just bought the 2 speed drill from the same company. The 1/4" hex impact driver seems every bit the better professional tool. Batteries are inexpensive. These are nicer than the economy tools at the big box home improvement stores and consistent with more mid-range tools. It does have a brushed motor (The high end professional tools are often brush-less). Brushless motors should have longer ultimate longevity, as the brushes wear out over time (a very long time). For my purposes as a homeowner doing modest renovations, these are very good tools at a great price. As a side note, the most expensive professional tools are often as small as possible, as these are easier to maneuver in tight places. The size of these tools are reasonably compact. Incidentally, the power in a battery is the product of voltage multiplied by Amp hours (V X Ah). Therefore if comparing batterries, a 1.3Ah, 20V battery as this tool uses, has essentially the same power and run time as a 1.5Ah battery in a 18V tool system, or 2Ah in a 12V tool system. Calculated, these are 2.6, 2.7 and 2.4 Watt hours respectively.

This little driver is a beast! I used it to install the screws on a metal roof and it ran solid for 2 days and still didnt die. I wanted to see how long it would do but after that I charged it anyway because I loved using it so much I didnt want to wait or use something else while it was charging. It is a variable speed and the little light is actually helpful at times. Obviously you arent gonna change tires with something like this but for screws and small bolts it works great. Compact, powerful, comfortable to use, and fits in my nailbags. This is one where you can trust the product video and other positive reviews. I bought a mini skill saw from the same brand because I was so happy with this driver

I really love this impact driver, I use it more than my drill now. It holds a charge for a long time. Certainly powerful enough for my uses which included installed a steel carport.

This impact driver gets the job done. Whether driving screws or impacting nuts and bolts, this driver gets the job done.

Solidly built, STRONG driver, better than a dewalt I used on same wood.

Misleading advertising, some images do not correspond to what they send, the drill bits are not made of S2 steel, disappointed, the impact screwdriver does its job.

I love this little impact drill. Drilling in studs is like butter and it has a handy light on it to help see in toght spots. Definitely recommend

Tengo un Atornillador de impacto Dewalt pero necesitaba una segunda herramienta para trabajos más ligeros Por el precio este me convenció Obviamente no le llega a la fuerza y a las libras de torque del dewalt Queda por debajo pero la verdad es que me sorprendió gratamente Hace muy bien el trabajo carpintería de muebles y desarmar un motor como en el video muy bien Es muy bueno y eficiente incluso rápido pero llega a un nivel de torque y no da más Ejemplo es que el dewalt puede quitar las tuercas de la llanta de un carro sin problema Este galax pro no puede Usándolo dentro de su categoría tiene una excelente relación calidad precio Un tamaño cómodo, una pila que es suficiente y buenos acabados en los plásticos en fin buena herramienta La recomiendo en su categoría como ya comenté , si eres carpintero no te decepcionara para nada

Compre este en aproximadamente $800 en oferta, la verdad fue una ganga para la calidad y potencia, es robusto y ligero, con la potencia suficiente para barrer tornillos si no lo usas adecuadamente, sin embargo conseguí la oportunidad de obtener algo mejor (Dewalt) y no deje pasar la oportunidad por eso lo devolví (junto a su taladro), pero si no quieres gastar más y será para uso en casa esta es una excelente opción y más si consigues alguna oferta.

Está práctica de buena calidad muy bonita 10/10 recomendado

Me sorprendió la fuerza que tiene para el tamaño de la herramienta yo, no es una herramienta de gran tamaño pero sorprende la fuerza que tiene, coloqué un techo de lámina y puse tornillos autoroscantes y sin problemas igual en madera y una que otra actividad de mecánica ligera, excelente compra

Compre 2 en una promoción y los agarre por menos de 1000 pesos. Trabajan excelentemente bien en trabajos de carpintería, incluso mejor de lo que esperaba no le piden nada a un atornillador de marca reconocida. Llevo con estos atornilladores ya 6 meses y no hay queja hasta el Momento.
