Klein Tools 50402 Cable Bender, 14-Inch

A must have

Great tool. Had near 200 RV pedestals to install, 6 4/0 cables each plus ground (except the end unit had 3). No way to easily bend this fat cable into the lugs without the tool. Suggest you get 2 for tough bends. The smaller size one is also very handy to have for tighter spots. Will still grab the 4/0. I also used the large one on the 500 MCIL secondary leads to the CT and Breaker cabinets. Still did a good job but definitely need 2 of them and a pipe extension to make tight bends.

Recommend having 2 for more difficult bends. Still can’t straighten out the bended wires in your soul.

When it shapped it needs the bending side/what come into contact with wire rounded not so square so it doesn’t dig into the wire as bad. But it works great to bend wire in tight places. Was using it to train and bend wire in camper pedestals with log size max of 350kcm wire and the wire used was 350kcm In the dead of winter got it done and was very handy

I know it sucks and you think you'll get by with the 12inch ones, but go ahead and just invest in the 14's off the bat, I regret not doing that. ESPECIALLY if you work commercial electric. There's been too many times now that I couldn't use these 12's on the heaviest wires we use and wished that I could go back and just buy 2 of the 14's. Also it'll take some getting used to figuring out which direction to hold them to bend. Look at the picture provided on the package. In short the phrase I told myself to remember was "they both face the same way, one is in front of the wire one is behind". Anyways they'll save your hands and wrists and transfer power from your shoulders and chest instead

Solid made tool of course its Klein it does fit better in tight areas than hickey style, BUT it does put a crease in the wire that on 2 occasions I put the megger to double check didn't even put that much pressure

Je m'en suis servit sur du 500mcm et ca va super bien Marque légèrement le cable ce qui est normal... Je le recommande pour du gros sinon le petit serai plus adéquat car ils sont quand meme imposant

Der Leiter mit 150qmm hat sich bei wenig Platz mit zwei dieser Kabelbieger schön zu den Klemme biegen lassen

Abîme le câble quand on veut couder avec l outil,déçu de mon achat et un peu chère

Works better than knuckle saver (rackatier) wire bender works best with two of these

I like it it works really good. But watch out not to go over kill with bending the cable
