I read reviews of several brands of this type of product with very negative reviews. This particular product had many reviews, good and bad. I ordered knowing that I could easily return it if dissatisfied.After receiving it I understood why there were so many negative reviews.The key is in the weight of the blow dryer. A heavy one is not going to work. It may be too heavy to stay on the grabber clip. I have a small, white Conair 1875. It is light weight and stays on perfectly.In order for it to blow down on my hair, I place it on a box and extend the pole fully. Don’t let it blow directly on your hair, as I did the first time, you’ll look like a scarecrow.Good luck!

Ecellent quality and easy to put together. I'm impressed with how well this was made. I bought this to help free my hands while grooming my dog. I'll be able to use on myself as well. The stand stretches long enough.

I like it, but only because I have made modification to make it work. I have tendonitis and lots of hair, so I had to figure something out. The base of this is nowhere near wide enough to make it stable with a hair dryer attached. I strapped my exercise ankle weights to it and it stays upright now. It is also awkwardly short, I use it on my counter while I sit in a chair or on a chair with me bent over the top of it. Not great for the back but my hair looks better than when I tried the fabric hood dryer. My hair dryer is also fairly heavy with a diffuser attached so it doesn't always stay where I position it. Overall I am happy I have it, I just wish it were better designed.

Do NOT purchase this stand IF you have a blow dryer that is from Dry Bar or any upper scale/expensive/salon pro blow dryer. These don’t have a shape that works with this stand. It won’t work. But if you have Conair or a dryer in that price point, it will work

I had hand surgery and this item was such a great purchase for me. I was able to blow dry my hair with my one good hand and for that, I gave it 5 stars. I don't understand why it says there are a lot of returns of this item; you just have to put the blow dryer on properly and there's no problem.

I bought this because I was having shoulder surgery aWay to still do my hair! It holds the blow dryer but kept falling forward so I had to prop it up against the wall on the sink for an order for it to work it did work. But then I realized I had a blow dryer brush and I can use in one hand and works way better.

I used this to replace a bonnet style dryer that always requires a table. I connected a bonnet attachment (also available on Amazon) to the blow dryer and now I have a salon quality hair dryer that I can place anywhere. It holds the blow dryer well and is easy to adjust for height and angle. Highly recommended.

I'm so glad that I took a chance and ordered this! Freeing my hands to be able to brush and otherwise work with my hair while drying it has also resulted in easing a lot of pain in my arms due to chronic pain and previous injuries. If you have space on your sink counter, and need a helping hand, please give this a try! It's sturdy and sleek, and the weight makes it easy to move from room to room if needed and could be taken when traveling if you desire due to its compact size when stored. This was absolutely worth the price and didn't break the bank.
