This was a gift for my grandson. He is really into reptiles at six years of age. Eats, sleeps, and breathes Reptiles. This was the perfect gift for him as he does like to draw them. Works on drawing them every day. With the instructions provided, his drawings have improved dramatically. The pencils are great for beginners. He is still getting used to which to use for what. The pencils arrived in a well padded envelope. The box is tight enough to prevent movement and consequently keeps the pencils from breaking. The variety of darkness to light shades is broad. The paint on the wooden shafts is smooth and has a nice green tone to it. Overall these are a useful set for professionals or beginners. I am proud to place them into the pencil storage container with the rest of my collection.The shipping and arrival were very fast. It only took about three days, which I did not expect. Great sellers and great product!

These are amazing! They work very well and they also last very long. They have strong cores so the led inside doesn't break which I find amazing! These we're a great purchase and they even came nice and padded up! These blend very well together and I don't regret anything from this purchase! You should totally buy, even if you are a beginner these are great! These Pencils also have the tones on the outside on the box and each pencil is labeled indivitually, this comes in handy and all in all i love these Sketching Pencils!

Good for getting started, for dabbling and practicing. I found it odd that some of them were not sharp when i opened it. They looked ... used once or twice? I don’t know.The difference between h4 and h2 seemed off to me but I’m so new to this that i could be wrong.

I was looking for an inexpensive set of pencils to get back into drawing. After receiving these, I'm pretty impressed. I've used more expensive sets in the past. These measure up very well. The quality of the graphite is better than I expected. The softer graphites perform as expected. The harder ones could be a bit harder, but, there's still a definite difference between each.I'd definitely suggest this set for a beginner, as a gift, or even for a seasoned artist looking for a cheaper set.

These pencils were for my son for a Christmas present. He does enjoy them and I believe they were worth the money. They sketch very nicely and do exactly what is stated in the description.

The artist I purchased these for was surprised at the excellent quality. She likes them very much and uses them all the time.

The packaging was a bit messy. My first set of pencils for being a beginner. I purchased another set that I use daily so I use these and sort of a traveling set. They're great, not the best but good for beginners and inexpensive!
