Angel Unaware
This book, written over 50 years ago, arrived in magnificent condition, it enen has the dust jacket! There is some evidence of shelf-wear, but that is a very minor flaw. I look forward to reading this heart-warming, inspirational story written by Dale Evans once again. I can always find out of print books at Half-Price Books.

What a loving story.
I read this 40 years ago. It still brings tears to my eyes. Recognizing the good in people and their value no matter what is priceless. Don't minimize how much you mean to your children and others.

A beautiful memoir that could change your life
Written from the perspective of Roy and Dale Rogers' two-year old daughter, Robin, who had Down syndrome and passed away from heart complications. This is a really sweet book that can tell everyone how children with Down syndrome are misunderstood, and how very much they are loved. Robin changed Roy and Dale's life, as they went against what was "normal" at the time, and did NOT put their daughter in an institution. They took her home and loved her unconditionally, and she thrived socially. It's hard for me to explain, but this book can have an impact on anyone who reads it. It's a quick read that could change your life too.

Wonderfully written
Wonderful Account of Dale Evans’ daughter with Down Syndrome from back in the day when such children were institutionalized, written from the perspective of the little girl.

Good perspective
Great read for anyone who knows someone with Downs Syndrome. My 2 year old son has it. The book is a good perspective and kind of emotional. There are a few parts that are a little outdated. I did appreciate those parts to see the progress that we have made as a culture regarding Downs.

Very sad
This was a book I had read years ago and I never thought I would see it again. I wish I could find more books from Dale Evens. She was my hero back then.

Beautifully written for any age.
I first read this book when I was a child and it touched my heart so much then, leaving an indelible impression. I loved watching Roy Rogers and Dale Evans on television, hearing them sing "Happy Trails to you until we meet again..." Now six decades later I have just read this book one more time...being touched deeply by the beauty and wisdom of the parents of this little child and how the world became more compassionate because of what they did. We need more love and understanding, kindness and inclusivity, as we try to bring harmony into our lives. This little book is worth reading and allowing it to bring peace to our hearts.
