BETTERCLOUD Cylinder Gasket Piston Ring Kit Set PW80 Top End Kit Replacement for 1983-2006 Yamaha PW 80 PW80

Haven't even put the parts on yet,,as soon as i removed from the box i found the cylinder is broken, part is still usable but already disappointed in this purchase..will update after installing parts on bike update number 1,,this is ten minutes after the original review ,the metal gasket that comes with the kit is unusable, looks like a dog chewed it up before they put it in the box!!adding a picture of that

Head gasket and base gasket loosely packaged in the box with the jug causing damage to the gasket! Con-rod bearing missing!A lack of simple quality control and this is the result. The quality of the jug appears ok, the head casting is a bit rough but looks like it will work. The plugs are no-name and I'll not use them, sticking with NGK. The piston looks good but feels light and a bit cheap. The studs look good, the nuts are basic hardware store nuts and I'll reuse the OEM. Time will tell. Disappointed overall with this purchase overall due to the poor packaging, damaged gaskets and missing bearing.

My only complaint is the metal gasket was beat up. Other thank that after assembling directly from package no modification to rings and didn’t have to de burr the edges I assembled with with 2 stroke oil. It took me a drill and broke it in soon as that happened started and no carb adjustment on brand new carb. My pw80 has so much more power this kit worked for me wish you all the same experience!

I liked the price but you definitely get what you pay for. Bent stud, wrinkled metal gasket and the casting seams so thin it’s almost through into the cylinder. Also they forgot the piston wrist pin bearing in the package.

Junk. Piston came seized in the cylinder and cylinder is chipped, head is used and has been painted silver and the gasket surface has been destroyed, gaskets themselves are bent and torn, spark plugs are junk because the weren't packaged right and the gap protectors came off in shipping, all of the parts were just dumped into the box withoit proper packaging. Do not buy

I order these all the time for pw80 when they come in needing a rebuild. Cheapest price and same product as the more expensive ones. Faster delivery than was expected.

Packaging was pretty terrible. Both piston rings were bent & not the the right size to fill the piston ring gap correctly and made from the cheapest material I've seen for a piston ring. I used my old piston rings to finish the job. Metal gasket was bent and had noticeable puncture marks. Green bottom cylinder gasket was ripped. Pins to hold the piston in place were cheap and awkward.

The order came quick with good packaging. Cylinder and head look pretty good, casting is a little rough but machining looks good. I have not installed yet, so can't speak to the performance, but it's got to be better than the worn out stock parts.

I received an obvious used/rebuilt head, the head was painted silver and the seal surface was damaged so bad I had to re use the old head, not Impressed, and it was not damaged during shipping.
