I ordered this balm at the recommendation of my sister who trains dogs for a living and lives in cold Michigan. I’m in Kentucky and this ridiculous cold/snow/rain/mud weather has my 1yr old Doodle’s foot pads feeling pretty dry and sad. He loves running wild outside when we let him and especially running wild in the snow. Thankfully I got my order in one day, arriving the afternoon before a big snow. I went ahead and applied some to his front paw pads (the other dogs started barking at a cat outside so he dipped on me before I got his back pads). I love that it’s safe for them licking their feet also. They already feel better, and I’m sure he will appreciate it in the insanely cold weather this week.The only downside is my balm container was damaged. It looks as if the tub was dropped on the ground or a hard surface and cracked a chunk out of it, exposing the balm. My sister indicated in warmer weather or temps it would likely leak, so for $16 I definitely didn’t want any to go to waste. I immediately requested a return and explained that I do need the product and have to use it. Not sure if the fancy algorithm caught my words, but thankfully they offered a refund to my account in lieu of returning it (or them shipping a replacement immediately with the option to return the detective one) so that I can keep using it. I took the refund option and will place it in another container for safe keeps.I’m satisfied so far with the product (I know ours only been a day) and grateful for the return option causing zero hassle!

I got this for my dog because he was limping after coming in from a quick potty break in the snow. He must like it because he lets me put it on no problem, and it definitely worked. Winters over and I apply it every once in awhile when his pads seem dry. He does lick at it but it says non toxic.

So far so good. Wrinkle’s paws have been a bit dry, I think from the salt on the roads this winter. I have been putting Musher’s on for about a week now, once a day, and I can already tell that it is helping. The paw texture is much softer! She tends to lick so I bought her rubber covers to put over her paws for about an hour, and that is enough time for the wax to fully melt into her paws. She gives them a little cursory lick after I take them off but that’s it. Excellent product!

I am amazed that this stuff works. It looks and feels like plain vasoline. My AMStaff Barnaby likes it. He’s a 70 pound active dog who not have fur between his big toes like a sled dog does, so his paws freeze quickly on slush and ice (which is most of the time in winter in N. Maine). His leg conformation does not allow booties to stay on, I’ve tried all the brands. But he likes this mushers product, and looks forward to getting it put on, which means it works or he would reject it. It’s a little sticky so it stays on his paws, and it actually smells good. And it protects my hands too LOL.

THIS STUFF IS AMAZING. I have a Border collie Australian Shepard mix her paws were worse than sandpaper. I was getting nervous something was wrong. I called the vet they suggested this. After 1 use her paws were sooooooo much better and softer. True Game changer. Now I'm not getting scratched by sandpaper paws.

Bought these when my pitty girl nova came home with us her previous owner wasn't capable of taking care of her poor paws etc, this + burts bee's pads helped her so much, now when she's climbing up for pets & pawing at me she's no longer scratching us & is one happy pup

Don’t I have the cutest pups in the world? Brandi is a 14 year old purebred moyen poodle that became mine when my best friend died, and Ripper is a seven year old rescue that I reluctantly adopted at ten weeks to keep Brandi young. Boy did that work! My dogs are so spoiled and totally deserve it, I don’t know what I’d do without them. We live in New England. Brandi’s paws were never much of a problem as she grows her own furry Uggs in the winter. But it didn’t take long to figure out Ripper needed more protection. Did I mention that I never had dogs before? I bought him dog boots and dog socks, which he would endure because he’s a very good boy, but just long enough to do his business and come back. And he’s a pup that likes to run around and play and explore. I discovered Musher’s while deep diving Amazon for ideas and solutions. The reviews were good so I decided to give it a go. It’s absolutely worth the hype. I put it on Ripper’s pads, but I also put it between the pads and toes, and massage it in around his nails. I do Brandi’s also because they expect equal pampering. Then a little goes on the noses, because we live on a farm with the richest, darkest soil you’ve ever seen, so they both like to dig holes and face dive into them to pull out delicious roots with their teeth. I never knew you could rub the black off a dog’s nose. But wait! There’s more! I had been trying everything on the market for my dry, chapped winter hands, some helped but left my hands feeling sticky or yucky, some smelled too perfumey, most had to be reapplied every time I washed my hands. But when I massaged Musher’s into my puppy’s paws I just went ahead and rubbed the rest into my own hands instead of washing it off, and I swear I could hear the angels singing! It melted right in to those cracks and dry spots, it wasn’t greasy or sticky, my cuticles were soft, and my hands looked pretty again and about thirty years younger. Then I put some on my lips. Then I put some on my feet. Oh! And I love this part, I didn’t have to reapply it every time I washed my hands! We are definitely going to need to order the larger jar.
