The AKASO V50X has become my favorite riding companion for capturing the beautiful landscapes and adventures along the way. The video quality is absolutely spectacular. Whether I am filming in native 4K at 30fps, 2.7K at 30fps, or using the smooth 2K at 60fps, it captures the vibrant colors of the trees, skies, and trails in stunning ultra HD. What I appreciate most while riding is the built-in Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS). E-bikes can get moving pretty fast, and trails can get bumpy, but this clever feature completely smooths out the vibrations, leaving me with steady, professional-looking footage of my journeys. The design is incredibly user-friendly, too. The intuitive touch screen is bright and simple to navigate, which is wonderful when I want to quickly adjust settings on the fly. The camera takes good quality pictures and videos. The plastic mechanisms do make mounting a bit of a challenge in cold weather.

Working great so far. Very affordable alternative to the big name cameras. The stabilization is pretty good, but could be a bit better. But for the price, it works.

I used the camera on a recent motorcycle trip and was very pleased with the operation of the camera and the quality of the video—the package includes plenty of mounting options, so I was able to find something that worked really well for my needs. I was looking for an "action camera" to video backpacking and vacation adventures, but didn't want to spend GoPro money. After reading and watching a lot of reviews, I decided on the V50X especially since they had just supposedly "fixed the audio" in June. I assumed this meant the low audio volume many reviewers had complained about, but that wasn't fixed so I'm not sure what actually was. The latest firmware was still from Nov 2019. I did contact Akaso support about this, and they did reply most times within a day or two (they are in China) but considered my test videos showing the audio level issue "normal" and offered a full refund. To summarize, if you have either the internal or the special external mic within about 6" of your mouth there is no real problem with volume level. However the gain drops off very quickly after that and is at least 12 dB below "normal" if you have either mic at 18", which is typical distance for selfie videos. The V50X video volume was much lower than videos taken at 18" with either my Canon Powershot S120 camera or Moto G5 Plus smartphone. So far I've only gotten to use it for my big backpacking trip (European trip was canceled) and it did very well. My audio solution was to use the external mic clipped to my shoulder strap and talk louder or I held it near my mouth if I didn't have my backpack on. The provided windscreen is OK for light breezes, but I knew it wouldn't work for the windy conditions I would face so I made a much thicker one from an old sponge, which worked great even in 40+ MPH winds. The only other complaint I have is it wasn't clear that Distortion Calibration and Image Stabilization are mutually exclusive so turning one on turns the other off so I didn't notice IS was off for a little bit. The IS does work pretty well though not quite as good as my old Canon S120 camera. It sort of "jumps" slightly as the scene is moving. One other annoyance is it is easy to get smudges or prints on the unprotected lens, but I assume all action cameras are the same in that regard. 1080 video looks good. I only did one slow motion clip but used the video time lapse several times. Battery life was as advertised. I didn't use the V50X for pictures since I used my Canon S120 for that so I can't comment on that aspect. I also didn't use it in the underwater housing yet. That will occur while snorkeling this coming summer (hopefully). The touchscreen and settings were easy to use. Overall, the V50X is a very capable and feature-packed camera for the price. I'm impressed with what I got for the money. I just wish the audio gain was better though one benefit of this issue is there is less background noise.

Tiene buena resolución y un ángulo muy amplio, la estoy ocupando para grabar viajes en mi vehículo. Grabar durante en día con ella resulta genial, el problema son las escenas o grabaciones durante la noche, se aprecia mucho ruido o granulación en la grabación. Por todo lo demás bien.

Sur V50X Le port USB est MICRO et pas mini comme indiqué, donc le micro externe de la même marque ne pourra pas être branché car USB MINI , malgré la bonne carte SDxc 64GO U3 ou v30 par moment la caméra indique : " vitesse carte SD trop lente" on pense toujours enregistrer, alors que non ,même en lecture j'ai le même message ?? Quand on utilise la télécommande pour enregistrer et la camera sur le casque, on ne sait plus si on est on ou off, le micro n'est pas trop mauvais et l image aussi.je pense la renvoyer.
