Swipes/ Micro Wipes Eyeglass Cleaner Set of 2

These cleaners are the most convenient things to have around. I've got one on my key chain, one in the SUV, one at work, and one by the computer. It's not necessary to spray your glasses with any type of cleaner; these are fine when used dry. They are easy to clean; just warm water and soap, press the pads against a towel to get rid of the excess water, then let them sit until the pads are fully dry.

Did not work as well as I had hoped.

I guess I expected miracles from these. I mean they work but I thought they'd be super awesome cleaners. My shirt works just as well and I don't need to find it in my bag.

Its a good buy serves the purpose well ..and for the price its a great buy ,cleans eyeglasses well its become a household essential now.

I had one years ago, but it broke. Couldn't find them anywhere until here. My glasses are REALLY clean. Nice that you don't get your fingerprints on the lens after you clean them. When I use those chamois cloths for glasses, I'll clean one lens, but end up putting my fingerprints on the clean one. These grab the lenses like those kitchen tongs.

I have one Swipe I bought a few years ago, it rotates open and has a brand name "Swipe" on it. These new ones I purchased from an Amazon 3rd party seller are a knock off. They do not rotate, and they do not even come with the key ring like in the picture. They do not clean as well, and they are made of a cheaper material than the one I bought in a store a few years ago. The original is a great item and I would give it a 5/5, though I cannot recommend these as a replacement.

Great little cleaners. Keep one in my desk drawer and one in my car console. Easy to use. They are expensive compared to the knock-offs, but they last longer and clean better.

If your glasses are really filthy, soap and water are the best cure, but Swipes work remarkably well for quick lense cleaning. Don't be deterred by the smudged appearance of the glasses after using Swipes. From the inside, looking out, the view is generally unsmudged. Anything used for cleaning gets dirty, and Swipes do too, but a little bit of stain remover (e.g., Shout) will remove all the dirt in the wash and renew Swipes to near original condition.
