Great headphones across the board, including 1 unexpected (using with phones)
I will not add a repeat of the already positive and thorough reviews listed here about this product. I agree with them. I take my sound seriously, having been a DJ and in bands in my youth; and can’t go a day without music. I was looking for a replacement wireless headset for my computer (Windows 11 laptop) use – music, video, and gaming. I also wanted something I could Zoom with in a quality fashion, as well as reasonable battery life, and comfort was a big factor this time. (I both wear glasses, and have a large head, and this has been an issue with other headphones.) I didn’t want active noise-cancelling, but some degree of isolation is important. There is also a “work around” for the lack of Bluetooth which I will go in to at the end of summary feedback. After a couple weeks of a LOT of research and comparison from headphones ranging from $50 to $400, I had narrowed it down to half a dozen headsets, and the challenging part was comfort - hard to verify that online. I walked into a retail store to try on the headsets, prepared to purchase them on the spot if they fit the comfort criteria. They had the WIRED version, but not the wireless. I chose the Logitech G PRO X, came home, and ordered the wireless version, which showed up the next day. Comfort: Ok – it feels like liquid heaven. These fit and feel wonderful. Overall, they unit is heavier than my last pair (which was mostly plastic), but it doesn’t FEEL heavy. It fits softly AROUND the ear, and I don’t feel it. I wear headphones the majority of the day, and above any other factor, comfort and fit can take the joy away more than any other feature. The oval shape is perfect. (Any company still making circular headsets need to go back and look at the shape of an ear…) They come with an alternate set of material, so the owner can select whichever feels best to them. Sound Quality: Very good. Sharp, precise, and clear. Candidly: Does NOT pack the low end “Kick” of my previous (and cheaper) headphones, but the bass is still there… it’s the difference between “hearing” the low end, and “feeling it”. That being said, turning up the low end to “feel it” on headphones isn’t the best thing for your ears in the long run, so – hey. The software that comes with it does allow a significant amount of modification with both pre-settings and custom settings for EQ, and other effects, and it is painless to download and install. I listen from Rock to Classical, and happy with both. Microphone: Also good – by itself straight out of the box, the sound was a little on the “thin” side, BUT, with the customization of settings the software provides, it’s amazing. You can record a brief clip of your voice, loop it, and play with the settings until you sound like an announcer for an upcoming movie. Very cool. I check out microphone quality with the people I talk with, and they signed off it as “Good!” – so, worked there. Battery Life: Good – When fully charged and monitoring them as I use them, it has been accurately showing 24-25 hours’ worth of life. I use them long, and hard each day, and could imagine a situation where I could use up to 16 hours of that… and still have battery to spare. I have yet to fully test their recharging capability, but initial reaction seems to be that it charges back to a full charge pretty fast. Candidly, no worries in this department for my needs. (You can still use them with the USB power cord charging up, so running out of juice really isn't an issue.) Wireless feature: OK, so this comes with a proprietary 2.4 wireless USB dongle that sticks out an inch and a half, and you have to deal with it (as a laptop user – desktop wouldn’t matter.) One of the specific issues I was having with my previous Bluetooth headset was that I was running into interference and sound dropping after use, as well as the audio becoming slightly off sync with video after a while, and – neither of those are acceptable… (which prompted the search for a replacement/upgrade.) Bluetooth is convenient but has its own pros and cons. The 2.4 system of this is painlessly plug-and-play. Just stuck the dongle in, turned on the headphones, and they were instantly fully active. Range of 2.4 is typically better than Bluetooth range, and this has definitely been proven out. I can wander around the house a bit again, which is nice, as compared to just across the room. WORKAROUND FOR LACK OF BLUETOOTH: As the G PRO X Wireless DOES NOT have any Bluetooth support NOR does it have a jack for a plain old cable, there were two aspects of this headset which were not 100% in sync with my wish list. (Listen up Logitech!) I would always like to have the opportunity to have a traditional 3.5 jack to manually wire in a headset. You just never know when something is going to happen, battery, interference… but the show must go on. Without that jack, it means that I have to maintain an entire backup set of headphones. Not IDEAL, but doable. I would hope to never need it, but would like to have the option. However, here simply is no jack, nor does the USB function in that fashion either. Call me old school, but I like a backup, even if it adds 49 cents worth of parts to the cost. Not a deal killer however. Would have let me use it easily with my phone however... The bigger trade off was the lack of Bluetooth (COMBINED with the lack of a wire.) All indications were – (even saw it listed in various reviews) that this meant that the headphone is limited in use to computers and consoles with regular USB ports… SPECFICALLY, that I would lose the ability to wear my awesomely comfortable headphones while on my (Android based) phone… meaning that I needed to manage yet ANOTHER set of headphones, earbuds, etc., for taking phone calls. (I read reviews where this was called out as a specific shortcoming factor.) THIS IS NOT THE CASE!!! I came across a reference from a user who used a simple USB-C Male to USB Female adapter (available cheap) to connect the dongle to their Android phone… and I have done the same, and the headphones DO WORK fine for taking phone calls from my phone. Yes, I have a bit of a weird contraption hanging out of the bottom of my phone – but, I am beyond happy with that. The phone functionality was also plug and play (actually FAST and LESS cumbersome to set up than a Bluetooth headset.) Plugged in an adapter (<$4 to $9), plugged the 2.4 dongle into that, and turned the headsets on. Listened to music, sounded great. The volume wheel controlled the volume on my phone. Make a call, sounds great. Thought it was going to be a trade-off, but now I can use the same set of headphones on my laptop and phone, and in the end is actually LESS hassle than trying to share Bluetooth between the two. Just unplug from one and plug in to the other, and off you go. STILL overjoyed by this. Candidly, DO NOT understand why Logitech doesn’t include a simple USB C Male to USB Female with the package (probably would cost them less than a dollar…), and eliminate “doesn’t work with phones” from the reviews of being a lack of a feature. Works fine with my android phone with its USB-C port. SO – if THIS aspect has been a reason why a person might decide against it, don’t let it stop you. Just spend a couple more bucks for the adapter when you order the headphones, and you can hook an Android phone at least to them. Hope this is helpful, was almost the deciding factor as to whether or not I purchased them… and am NOW completely happy that I did.

Quite possibly the best headset I've ever used!
The title is no joke I was skeptical cause higher price doesn't always mean higher quality but I can never go wrong with Logitech. I have their mouse and never had issues so I was hopeful to try these. They are so nice! Granted wearing them for an extended period of time can start to hurt the ears but even now I have had them on for 13 hours and only now are they irritating. The fact you get 2 different ear cuffs for your comfort is thoughtful. The mic being removable is great as I have a desk mic that I use. Connectivity was fast and simple and haven't experienced any latency or cutting out in the audio. The battery life is definitely up there, like said I've been using them today (at the time of writing this review) for 13 hours now and no low battery warning and the charging only takes a few hours while I sleep so they are ready to go the next day. I live in a studio apartment and got these wireless ones so I can use the restroom, finish dinner or whatever else while still being a part of conversations via my friends on a voice call. The range is incredible at least for what I need, being able to walk around my apartment with no cutting out makes this headset nice, comfy and portable. One added feature I'll discuss is the volume slider works well and isn't too loose so the volume doesn't change drastically BUT do be careful with how you rest you head as I've found sometimes my shoulder will brush the wheel and move it about 2 digits. Also use Logitech's program as it allows you to customize the sound settings of your headset and use settings from pro gamers and casual players around the world. I personally like the surround sound option for my horror games! While the price may scare you I promise you or your friend, partner or kid would NOT be disappointed as they are sturdy, comfortable, high quality and a one of a kind experience!

"Audiophile" approved, a fantastic value from Logitech
Firstly, I AM an audiophile (at least, your crowd would consider me to be). I have owned several pairs of really good headphones, my favorite being a pair of $300 Argon modded T50RPs. And I think this headset is really good for the price. I have this review organized into different parts, so you can just to a particular section if you want, but I recommend reading the entire review (not just for mine, but for all reviews). -PACKAGING AND STUFF- The headphone comes in a foam sleeve for protection, which you can just slip off. It comes with two cables, a longer braided cable with a volume wheel and a mic mute button, and a slightly shorter rubber cable with a button meant for phone use. It also comes with a y-splitter which is for compatibility purposes with some PCs, but you won't be using this because you'll be using the USB dongle it comes with to use that Blue Voice technology. It also comes with a very nice carrying bag made with a similar material to some sweat pants, and an alternate pair of velour ear pads (velour is a soft and breathable material). -BUILD/COMFORT/ISOLATION- This headphone is really well built, with hard plastic cups and a metal headband covered with pleather. The cups also have a protruding machined metal circular G logo that reflect in the light, which you'll either love or hate. The headband could use a bit softer padding, but it isn't terrible. The ear pads fit over my ears perfectly, and seal very well. The good seal comes from the tighter clamping force of this headphone. Clamping force is just how tight the headphone is on you, and the nice thing about having a metal headband is that you can always bend the top of the headband back a few times to alleviate the clamping force (while still being careful) if it's too tight and uncomfortable for you. The pads are soft and thick enough to provide standard comfort for us audio nerds, but if you're used to crappy and uncomfortable headphones then this will be a a godsend for you. A quick note about the "noise cancelling" Amazon is asking me to review: this are not noise cancelling headphones. Noise cancelling (also called active noise cancelling, ANC) is when the headphones emit a frequency that tries to negate long and consistent sounds, such as airplane noise. These do have fantastic noise isolation, which is when the headphones have such a good seal that it's harder to hear outside noises, even with nothing's playing. That's why I gave the "Noise Cancelling" 3 stars, because that's not what this has. -MIC- To be clear; I'm a headphone guy, not a mic guy. That being said, while this definitely won't compare to an expensive $150+ XLR mic setup, the mic on this headphone sounds really good, and I can't imagine any headset around this price having as good of a mic. At least, that's what I got from all of the comparison videos and reviews I watched before buying these. But where this shines is the software, allowing you to tweak the sound of your mic on the Logitech G Hub software. Like many others, I personally like the preset "Broadcaster 2", but there are other presets too, including ones for people with high pitched loud voices or high pitched soft voices (as well as low pitched voice equivalents). Basically, there are a lot of presets to choose from and you can further tweak the settings if you want, creating the best sound profile for your voice. -SOUND QUALITY- REALLY good for the price. The sound overall is smoother and more natural than a pair of $150 headphones I own (AKG K552 MK2). While I have't tested the sound extensively and compared it to all of my headphones, from what I can tell the sound signature is mostly neutral. This means that you won't have higher or lower frequencies that are much louder than others (Beats headphones, for example, have much louder bass than everything else). This is generally good in a headphone, but if you wanted to boost the bass (or any other frequency) you can change the EQ in the G Hub Software. The soundstage isn't very big, which means that it sounds like everything is in a small room with you rather than a few rows back in a concert hall like it would if there was a big soundstage. While most people would prefer having a large soundstage when playing games, it really comes down to personal preference. The stereo imaging is very good on these headphones too. Nothing game changing or absolutely amazing, but it does what it's supposed to and doesn't have any weird quirks like a pair of headphones I listened to at one point. This is really important though: please don't click "Enable Surround Sound" in the G Hub Software. This enables virtual surround sound, which doesn't really do anything when it comes to positional audio, but it does decrease audio quality by a little bit. Virtual surround sound is basically a scam, even the ones that do change the sound only over-exaggerate the imaging to unrealistic proportions, and will require you to get used to the new exaggerated sound. Games already have their own positional audio system, and exaggeration done by software is an alteration not intended by the sound team for that game. Headphones with "real" surround sound that have multiple drivers per cup will pretty much always sound worse compared to similarly priced headphones with one driver per cup (stereo headphones), because each driver will be and sound cheaper, and doesn't help positional audio because they're all in the same cup anyways. Thank you for listening to my TED Talk.

great for gaming, skip for streaming
Good for gaming, garbage for streaming. If youre going directly into your controller or possibly making business calls, its a great headset. Very comfortable for long term use, build quality is solid. The logi drivers may crash your computer so you will need to tune for that if you want to use the extended EQ settings. If you want to use this for streaming? Skip it. Going into OBS, the blue voice mic tries to pick up literally everything in the room like a weird crappy condenser mic. Every click of my keyboard, hvac hum, everything. It made it painful for my viewers to tune in. I ended up selling it because of this and bought a razr which is outstanding. But as long as youre not streaming or at least in a quiet apartment with no hvac noise, its a perfect device for the price. Audio quality is very high, logitech does well in bass ranges. Highs are crisp, everything is as it should be.

Solid and durable
Sound quality is really good and the mic is clear, making it great for gaming. It feels very durable and well built overall. It is a bit weighty though, and can get uncomfortable during long sessions.

Great Headset
Great sound quality , but had a bit of a hassle to set up. I had to find the firmware online and install it in order for it to work. It did not register on the Logitech Hub that it was working properly, not sure if that was due to the outdated drivers or not. It had still not registered even after installing the drivers, I had to find the actual firmware to get it working. Other than that, this is a great product and in very comfortable. It comes with a separate pair of ear muffs that are much softer than the ones that are pre-installed, and are relatively easy to change out. It has ana amazing appearance as well, with its sleek design. the controls on the headset are self explanatory, and are easy to use. Both sided of the headset are adjustable for different head sizes, and has a great battery on it. The Logitech Hub app allows you to change the equalizer, and has surround sound capabilities. Well worth the price it is being sold for. Would highly recommend this headset.

Fantastic sound, but be sure to set it up right.
As with most hardware with accompanying software, the software truly isn't great. So, for a good setup, use the included DAC, install G Hub, disable side tone if you want, I did because hearing myself is disorienting, adjust any EQ levels you want, I gave it a bass boost, and then save those setting to the DAC. Then, uninstall G Hub. G Hub has issues, like when I'd try to max out the mic, since I can adjust that later through Voicemeeter, it refused to let me. It kept turning itself back down with no option I saw to disable automatic gain control, so you're better off saving specific things to the DAC, then uninstalling it, it's not friendly with other software. After that, you'll have a good headset which won't make adjustments on it's own magically lol Mic: The SE variant does have a different mic than the classic, at least different from the classic I bought over a year ago, and it does make me sound better, so that's a nice upgrade. My voice sounds clean, and though it does pick up background noise, very sensitive, that's easy to handle with Nvidia Broadcast, or Krisp, or any number of other noise cancellation softwares. I tried the Blue Voice thing, it was horrible, so, again, software bad. Sound: Compared to other headsets I tried before buying this as a replacement for my old Pro X that broke, most miss out on the bass and other low spots, but this covers it fairly nicely. You can adjust it later too using something like Equalizer APO. I tried a Cloud III from HyperX before buying this, wanted to see what others offered, and that thing sounded so flat, even with every equalizer I could find maxed out on the bass layered on top of each other, I'm assuming they lack the hardware, but this headset certainly delivers. Build: Most of the weak points of a headset are made of metal on here with one exception, the two clips that compress the size adjustment point, they're plastic, and held together by two screws each. This is what broke my classic variant, and I am somewhat sad to see they're still made of plastic on the SE's. I plan to have my local machine shop make me some metal replacements, since Logitech doesn't even sell plastic replacements, much less metal ones. They lasted almost a year before breaking, but they're the exact same as on the SE's, so I can take the ones from the broken headset for them to use in the process of making me metal ones which I will promptly swap. Overall: I give it a 4.5, mostly because my last ones broke in the way that they did, and a whole year later, that specific part is still made of plastic. I'll make it right myself, but I really shouldn't have to, it's a weak point, and should be made of metal. Aside from that, solid product, best sounding gaming headset I've ever used.

Logitech G PRO X Wireless Lightspeed Gaming Headset - Real Review
THE GOOD: 1. Lightweight compared to the Logitech Artemis. 2. Reasonably comfortable out of the box. 3. Extra set of ear cushions included. Installed cushions are "leatherette"(?), and the extra pair is mesh covered. 4. VERY decent sound in default setting, without downloadable application software. 5. Detachable microphone is a definite improvement over the Artemis, tested using Audacity. 6. No annoying "auto-fade-in" when opening, resuming, or recording a new audio clip. 7. Connecting/charging cable is about 3 feet long. 8. Simple plug-and-play for PC (downloadable software NOT required). 9. Adjusting volume using headset wheel doesn't produce system alert noise. 10. Real ON/OFF switch, and press on/press off mic switch on headset. 11. Earphone yokes are made of metal, but still connected with plastic fittings. We'll see how it holds up. 12. Decent price. THE BAD: 1. Packaging is status-quo convoluted origami cardboard maze. 2. Printed instructions are meager, and illegible. White, small print on black paper. "Safe Use" info is far more detailed. 3. Comfort tended to fade with extended use. I don't recommend this, but I gently re-bent or relieved the clamping pressure by "unbending" the head band at places under the headband cushion. DO NOT DO THIS there are wires under the cushion. DAMAGE MAY OCCUR...but didn't in my case. 3. No media preset control on headset. I don't mind this, but you might. 4. Ear cups are much smaller than the Artemis. Much smaller. EDIT~ Bought a set of WC cushions for the headset, much better, more comfortable. THE UGLY: 1. Download software required for EQ settings. Not saved to headset. No headset button to change profiles. 2. Another cable connector. I have a Logitech mouse and keyboard that use different cable connections from each other. EDIT~ One cable for keyboard, one cable for mouse and headset. CONCLUSION: So far, I like this headset. I'm not going to marry it, but the quality of sound and ease of use are worthy of four stars. Room for improvement, but at this price, I'll adapt and overcome.

Great headset for PC users!
This is a great headset, comfortable for long sessions fitting both large and small heads. The sound and mic quality out of the box is not great. However, using some of the user presets in the Logitech G Hub software have dramatically improved the quality, and are able to be easily switched dependent on the specific game or activity being played. The battery life is good enough that I have not had any issues, but it does need to be charged often. No latency issues at all with wireless connection. However the range is not great, and sound cuts in and out when I leave the room. All in all, I think this is a great headset for PC users.
