QUALITY SUCKS AND TASTE IS TERRIBLE
product arrived in a highly liquid state. I am not sure if it was the product's characteristics or if it was exposed to a hot shipping environment along the way. I refrigerated it and tried a small taste the following day. It tasted lousy. Do not purchase. I also found out it is NOT ELIGIBLE FOR A REFUND. Amazon should refund when quality is an issue. If purchased from a grocer, I could get the refund I feel I deserve. Amazon- if you want to sell groceries - step up your customer service.

Wasn't Apple Butter
This product doesn't resemble apple butter in any way. One taste was all I managed out of the whole jar. The texture was off-putting. Smelled nothing like apples. Waste of money in my opinion.

Very liquid and bad taste
Being a diabetic for 60 years I was so happy to see apple butter sugar free. Bought as soon as I saw. Walden Farms should be ashamed of selling this product. It is watery and has a horrible flavor. I had three adults try it and all said the aftertaste was nauseating. What is going on? I had planned in getting the sugar free sweet cream too but glad I did not. Also was supposed to be sold in Whole Foods and Walmart. Not where I live in Ma so ordered on Amazon. I’m so disappointed. I hoped it would taste better. AnnMarie

Not the Apple Butter I was expecting
I am a diabetic but I still love peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Now I use natural or no sugar added peanut butter and fruit-only kinds of jellies. Sugar free jelly lacks some critical component to taste and I haven't found one I really like. This is more like an apple butter flavored sugar free jelly. As sugar free jellies go, it's quite tasty, but it in no way reminds me of real apple butter. It's a jelly rather than having the applesauce consistency I was expecting. You might like it, but be warned that it's not a very good approximation of apple butter. In my case it was shipped with a 4 pound hammer in a giant box, so both jars arrived with dented and loose lids. I would be careful about what they might ship it with.

This is not apple butter. It is chunks of apples put in a liquid base. It is not blended or pureed
It is not pureed. It is not your usual apple butter. It is weird, chunks of apples and in a soupy liquid. I can't stand it. It is a shame I cannot return my unopened jar!!! If you like regular apple butter, I warn you, this is not your regular apple butter. It's expensive and doesn't live up to it's name. It's awful.

Disappointing
Apple BUTTER is a misnomer. It's a gel floating in liquid. The flavor is ok and it may be fine with peanut butter in a graham cracker. On its own though it's a no.

Love this stuff!
While the extra-slippery jelly-like quality of this product makes it sort of difficult to spread on toast or a bagel, it tastes downright FANTASTIC and for no calories, it's the best weight-loss bargain you'll find out there. I'm hooked on the stuff--I never want to go back to "real" apple butter again. It tastes like apple cider! Delicious! Even the people who didn't know it was sugar/calorie free who tasted it in my family found it delicious.

Warmed up it tastes great
This has a really good apple flavor and when it's warm, it looses that medicinal after taste. I use it in place of the pancake syrup for a different taste.
