Having gone through 8 sets of measuring cups/spoons, these are the best I have found. 1) Cups & spoons are one continuous piece of metal. No welds means handles can't break or detach! 2) The small lip extension prevents the cups from 'falling' into a larger cup when stacked. 3) Cups are level when stacked; their handles don't jet up. Cups store compactly and easily in a drawer. 4) Largest cup has no lip extension so it can be used to scrape a container bottom to remove last speck. 5) Cup exteriors are highly polished and look fantastic. 6) Cups and spoons have enough steel to feel substantial, not heavy. Have the 'feel' of high quality. 7) Pour spout formed in the lip of each cup assists with pouring of liquids. Nice feature. 8) The stainless steel handles won't *Snap* when applying pressure. 9) Includes 2 slip-on, plastic handles for the cups for when scooping & pouring hot liquids. 10) Long handles on the spoons are nice for reaching to the very botton of spice containers. 11) Squared spoons make for easy removal from edges & corners of spice containers. 12) Being stainless steel, these won't easily stain, rust, break, or lose their shape. 13) If handle lettering was more prominent, these items would be perfect! 14) Yes, I would definitely buy these again, but don't ever expect needing to! I hope this helps everyone make an informed choice.

The cups are beautifully finished stainless, comfortable to hold, and impressively functional. The cup measurements are deeply embossed on the sides of the slightly rounded bowls, and each cup (except for the 1/8 cup) features additional lesser measurement markers, viewable both inside and outside the cup. More great features include a tiny pour spout on each cup; measurement sizes of each cup are engraved on the handles in both cups and milliliters; a couple of sturdy plastic handle extenders add extra functionality.

I really like this set. I read many of the reviews here before I puchased them. I noticed that several of the 3 star and less reviews were a pretty even mix of "The cups are too heavy" and "The cups are too thin". I think the weight is about right. If they were much thinner, they'd be too easily deformed by hand, and I don't see why they need to be any heavier than they are. The weight of the 1 Cup measure is a little over 3 ounces. I don't think that's too heavy. The handle fits well in your first two fingers and your thumb. With your thumb resting in the smooth rounded depression on the top of the handle and your two fingers(or three) supporting from underneath, the cup feels secure. The set includes a hinged ring that passes through the hole in the end of the handles and keeps the set together. The ring is easily opened so you can separate the cups for individual use. The spoons have their own hinged ring and are of equal quality, They have nice long handles and narrow rectangular bowls for reaching into spice jars. I like that each of the cups is graduated and marked with additional measures, and that the set includes 2/3 Cup and 3/4 Cup, but in the spoon set, I feel a 1/2 Tablespoon measure would have been more useful than the 3/4 Teaspoon measure that the set includes. All the pieces are nicely polished on the exterior and brushed on the interior. The only negative I read about that I have to agree with is that there are a few corners and edges that could have been made a little less sharp. Overall, this is a great set that I know will last me many years.

The measuring cups and spoons are great. I've had many different types of measuring cups and spoons over the years, and they all were lacking in some way (flimsy, hard to read, hard to clean, etc). Not so, with these stainless steel babies. The measurement labels are not printed, they are stamped directly into the stainless steel, on both the side, and on the handles. These labels are not going to fade, flake, or fall off like the labels on some generic sets do. For example, the 1 cup measuring cup also has a 1/2 and 3/4 stamped indicators, which can be easily seen on the inside of the cup, so you 1 cup measuring cup is actually 3 cups in one. Don't worry the set includes dedicated 1/2 cup and 3/4 cup measuring cups as well. All the cups can stack, nested into one another, for low space usage in a drawer. The handles all have a hole in them, so you can hang them individual for storage/display, or you can use the included circular metal ring clasp to keep them altogether so you won't lose any of them. The metal spoons are just as great! The handles for the cups and spoons have both metric and imperial measurements stamped markings on them. So whichever way your recipe is written, you are good to go. The one weird thing on them is that while the imperial measurements are lower case on the spoons, they are in upper case on the cups. Likewise, the metric measurements are in upper case on the spoons, but lower case on the cups. Perhaps that's done for readability on the smaller spoon handles. It's not a problem with functionality, it's just something my OCD noticed. If you want to clean the cups and spoons by hand, you can. But you can also just put them in the dishwasher and the nice shiny finish stays nice and shiny! I was worried that the dishwasher detergent would dull the finish, but that's not the case. Since they're solid stainless steel, you can put them in the top rack or bottom rack in the dishwasher and not have to worry about heat drying melting or warping them (like some plastic measuring cups/spoons can do). I highly recommend getting a set of these. The price is great, and this set is going to last so long, you'll probably give them to your kids or grandkids.

Right before Christmas my wife told me that she wanted a good set of metal measuring cups so she could get rid of the other three sets that we had in our limited drawer space. I was hesitant to get these as a gift because it wasn't jewelry or fancy clothes and thought it might be like giving her a blender as a Christmas gift. I checked Amazon and other sources and decided to go by review, the fact they were stainless and figured that it would be worth spending a little extra for something of quality (hopefully). The package arrived and I was surprised at the weight of the package. Hmmmmm . I wrapped (gift bagged actually) it up and put it under the tree for Christmas morning. After opening some gifts of jewelry and fancy clothes (yup) she picked up the gift bag with the 7 Pc Stainless Steel Measuring Cups and commented on its heftiness. "What is this" she asked and I responded that it was the special gift she really wanted. Her reaction once she pulled the box out of the bag was priceless, as was her mom's - she opened the box and pulled out the cups and started saying how amazing they were, her mom reached for them and was so impressed. My wife started laughing and said they were the nicest measuring cups she had ever seen. The gift opening came to a screeching standstill as each cup was unstacked, inspected and commented upon. "Look at the markings on the inside of each cup", "See how the handle is all part of the cup- it will never break off like the other ones did", " Did you see the little spout on each cup to make it easier to pour liquids without spilling?", " These are so pretty because they are stainless steel and will be so easy to clean" and on, and on, and on, and on... So my review is this- if you want the best metal measuring cups you have ever owned then buy these cups. Buy them for a new cook , an experienced cook or any cook that you know - it will be money well spent and you will probably only have to do it once for each special person in your life.

Someone in the recent comments said that the measurements were off. Well I’m telling me or they are spot on. Not only did the spoons measure out perfectly but if you know how to measure dry ingredients you know it has to be done with a scales it’s the ONLY WAY to know you’re getting the exact measurement - weight not volume. Bakers for instance know this. They can show all the pictures of their old set cs. This one and I can tell you their old sets are WRONG. Not only that, but the cups came with a little surprise - orange plastic slide on handles to make the scooping of dry ingredients easier. This is an excellent set - I purchased the 15 item because I wanted the full gamut. I didn’t need the pinch, smudge etc for this particular set. The SS cups are ONE PIECE - no handles added on after the fact. Just one solid and I don’t normally say anything about shapes but this set really beautiful shaped. All the items measured out perfectly and if anyones wants to try, get a good scale, put a parchment sheet on top and hit tare. It will remove the weight of the paper and leave you with the exact weight of whatever it is you’re measuring. You can’t tell by eye dry measurements like you can with Pyrex liquid measure- that’s a whole other lesson on how to look for where the liquid should hit and it’s not the line. Maybe it’s time some people look up some baking or measuring techniques. This is especially true for people on a diet. ALWAYS WEIGH YOUR DRY INGREDIENTS. Don’t believe me, try it for yourself and see how much more your getting by just putting your dry ingredients in cups. I think this set is excellent and as I need another I’ll try a different brand and post about whichever I choose.

This set of measuring cups should never rust. The stainless is superior. The only improvement I suggest is longer handles so the two handle extenders aren’t needed. I love having so many sizes of cups.

I ordered the 15-Piece Set version of this and I love it. I use it for baking as well as other cooking purposes. I use it daily, multiple times a day, and I'm kicking myself for not buying it earlier. It's simply amazing. The product is a durable stainless steel. It's visually attractive, easy to wash, and the edges are not sharp like some of the cheaper brands that skimp on the production process (buffing?) It's worth paying more for this set so you don't cut yourself. The ergonomics of the spoons are excellent. The handles are long, enabling you to reach into tall bags and jars. The top of both the spoons and cups are flat, so that you can level them off to get a more exact quantity. Another neat little detail is that on the measuring cups, there are embossed notches showing partial measurements, so you can use a larger cup to get a rough estimate of a smaller measurement too. I LOVE the addition of the 1/2 tablespoon and 2 teaspoon / 1/8th cup units as well. I use these almost every day, in part because I tend to make things in small batches, and they're sizes that are not included in most sets. Some of the other ones, I rarely use though (3/4 cup, 2/3 cup, and 3/4 tsp). If I had any one complaint, it would be that I wish I could have bought a set without those three ones, but still including the 1/2 tablespoon and 2 teaspoon/1/8th cup ones. Unfortunately, if you size down to the 12 piece set, it still includes the 3/4 cup and 2/3rd cup and 3/4 teaspoon sizes, but it omits the much-needed 1/2 tablespoon and 2 tablespoon sizes. But that's an exceedingly minor complaint. This set is simply the best set of measuring cups and spoons I have ever owned, and at $47 it was worth every penny (although I see the price has gone up now to nearly $56, which is starting to get more expensive.) The set includes two snap-on plastic handles that can make the handles longer on the measuring cups. (Only the spoons have very long handles.) Although the longer handles are useful, because I'm primarily measuring flour with them, I found these snap-on handles less useful because flour tends to get stuck underneath and around the edges of them, so I prefer using the cups as-is. Some people have complained about the small handles on the cups being inconvenient, but it hasn't bothered me at all. The cups and spoons both stack nicely, which is good if you use them less frequently and want them to store without taking up space. Not me though. I'm using these every day so they spend most of their time out, in-use, in the sink, or in the drying rack waiting to be used again!

Sehr gute Qualität. Auch sehr robust. Keine scharfen Kanten. Sauber verarbeitet. Die kommen direkt aus den USA und sind echte “cup“ Messbecher (1 cup = 237ml) . Die vielen asiatischen Anbieter bieten 1 Cup = 250ml an. Das Mehrgeld lohnt sich. Ein Produkt, dass mir bestimmt lange Freude machen wird. Kurz zu dem angeblichen Manko, was ein Rezensent schreibt, dass die Becher an einem Ring zusammengehalten werden und dieser nicht öffnen geht ? Dass ist nicht richtig. Natürlich geht der Ring zu öffnen. Man muss nur wissen wie. Es gibt eine Stelle, an denen die Ringbügel verzahnt sind. Drückt man den Ring leicht zusammen, öffnet sich dieser. Voilà und man entnimmt nur den Becher, den man benötigt. ;-)

These were a little expensive but well worth the money. I am so very happy with the measures and the look of this item and they are a kitchen essential, i would so recommend for the quality & quick delivery ,thank you

These are excellent measuring instruments. And even better the Markings on each is clear and easy to read.

Decided to pay for some decent measuring cups. Felt like a lot of money but they are excellent - solid and well made. They will probably outlast me!

I had a set of measuring cups before but they were plastic and broke easily. I decided to buy a better set and after reading other reviews decide on these, I wasn't disappointed. These are great measuring cups, easy to hold and use, easy to clean and very sturdy. They haven't let me down yet, they are a perfect measurement and I love them. Best buy.
