CrazyDeal Blue 60cm 5050SMD LED PC Computer Case Strip Light Self-Adhesive Genial Comfortable

CAUGHT ON FIRE. Will post pictures in near future, I just wanted to put this out there as soon as i could, and as you can see my computer is working just fine since I removed the 60cm overall strip.So I bought two of these, got them and was so excited I installed one of them within ten minutes after I opened them.Turned on my pc and they didn't light up for a second then they did STARTED TO SMOKE AND SOON AFTER BURST INTO FLAMES. I have pictures of the after math and will be posting these along with a lengthy email to amazon to prevent them from selling these (possibly dangerous ) products on their site.I checked the voltage rating on the LED strips and the voltage coming out of my molex. THEY BOTH SAID 12v DCSo in "short" these are absolute garbage, the wire looks to be around a 26-28 awg when you would need more like a 24 -22 awg.PLEASE DO NOT BUY I was sitting under my desk when the fire started and Fortunately I was able to put it out and turn off the power supply before it got too bad. I've had these running for the last 2 years, i had not opened my case in awyile and had been noticing it was not very bright anymore. The pictures included are what i had found, the rubber over each light had melted and was burnt crispy( guessing im lucky it didn't catch fire), and they where hot to be he touch. You can see they still worked but very dim, you can also see where I removed burnt rubber, and the led under those where br bright still.It's my opinion that these are not being made with the correct material, and could cause a fire.

these strips aren't the length they claim but they are very vibrant with color the adhesive tape like all led strips came loose shortly after install even after alcohol prep in a new case but after reapplying adhesive tape they work well and these things are extremely bright
