Good stuff. Works well.
First of all, you need to shake the tube because the liquid will separate. Use just a teaspoon or two and rub on your hands, one time, quickly. It dries to a powdery dust. I use this for sport throwing, and it lasts about three throws before the powder is gone. That's all I really need at a time, so it works ok. One thing to be aware of, is that any amount of wet or dried powder will prevent the cap from closing completely. I've seen reviews where the opening to the tube gets dried out and clogged. I can guarantee this is from not completely closing the lid. In fact, I have to clean it every few times I use it to get the lid to shut completely. If you see a gap, or if it doesn't click, it isn't closed! If it is closed, it does not dry out.

Excellent as a base coat for climbing
I have insanely sweaty hands that wash away chalk almost instantly, so I have to chalk up for every climb. This liquid chalk is excellent at keeping my hands dry long enough to get the send (or at least to the crux) if I use it as a base coating and THEN use powdered chalk on top.Just a dab’ll do it, usually a nickel-sized spot on my fingertips or a very thin drizzle running up my palm to my fingers on a single hand to then rub around with my opposite hand. The important part is letting it dry a bit first before applying the powdered chalk.A container will usually last me a few weeks of climbing 2-3 times a week, so it’s a pretty decent value for how often I need to use it.Ever since I’ve started using this alongside powder, I can’t go back to just one or the other. It’s just not the same level of grip and performance individually as they are combined.V5 out of 5

Okay, it's been 18 months, but it dried out!
I use this sparingly for firearms training and store it sealed and in a plastic bag. Bought in March 2023, it was dried out in November 2024 and I need to order another one, or perhaps try another brand. With that aside, I don't have fingerprints or oils on my hands, so things just slip out of them. Secret Stuff liquid chalk does the job so that I can do my job. As long as you use it before it dries out, you'll be a happy, er, climber... or whatever.

Liquid chalk
Love this stuff! Works great and leaves no residue on weights or around the gym. Better than gloves as there is never any slippage.

Fast Drying & Effective!
A little goes a long way. This dries fast and helps create an effective base for indoor, top rope climbing when coupled with loose chalk. Never climb without it. Makes all the difference in my climbing and hand protection.

Not great for calisthenics
Use it for doing weighted pullups. The random other liquid chalk I got was thicker which made it last longer on my hands. Find myself reapplying this every set (sweaty hands + the pullups). The other liquid chalk was cheaper and better for my purposes. Strong alcohol smell as well but that was fine.

Keeps my hands dry
This is not a "stick em". It's chalk. I use it to keep my hands dry for shooting competitions in 100+ degree heat for 5 hours and I only have to apply it once, maybe twice. Leaves a bit of a residue, as any chalk does, but nothing that can't be managed.

Not as good as powder chalk
Recently ran out of Powdered Chalk so I decided to give this a try. If i could get my money back for this I would, this stuff takes to long dry and when it does dry it comes right off your hands, was deadlifting 365 yesterday and this stuff was coming right off my hand every set. I would not buy this over the powdered chalk.
