Replaced battery in my iPhone 5s about a month ago with this 1800mAh battery because the original battery was bulging the screen out of the phone housing. The replacement procedure from the manufacturer is nonexistent, but there are plenty of youtube videos on the subject. The replacement is no "walk in the park", but it is doable, and the tools supplied are sufficient. The biggest tip I can give is to be patient with the old battery adhesive strips. To get them off, you must stretch and pull the strip from under the old battery. Do not pull too hard, and do not pull at a large angle from the long length of the old battery or you will simply break the pull tab. If you break it, it is much more of a chore to separate the battery from the phone. (There are two strips holding the battery within the phone. I got one off fine, but not the second, because I tried to rush it.). Be patient, and pull at a slight angle from under the phone. Of course, the connections within the phone are very small and fragile. If you are not mechanically inclined, it's best to not attempt this, but it is doable if you know your way around screwdrivers and spudgers.At first, the battery performance seemed no better than what I had in the phone previously. But after a month of use, and a few battery recharges, it seems to be lasting quite nicely during the day. I am not a heavy phone user with calls or text or apps, but the battery holds a good charge, and I have had no problem getting through the day with the single overnight charge. I am pleased with my purchase, and I will keep my old iPhone a little longer because of this battery.

I got this when the battery on my 5S would not last, took awhile to change but there was a good youtube video to help you through. It gave my 5S several more years.

It was very easy to replace the battery on the iphone 5c. Took 5 min. Only thing I wish the kit included was a tweezer. The screws are tiny and hard to handle and the magnetic powers of the screw drivers are weak. I don't know if the battery is any good yet. It is charging now and I will find out and update the review once I get to use the battery life a few times.

My phone's battery life got to a point where it would normally drop from a full charge to around 10-15% whether if it was during a full day of no use (with no apps running in the background), playing a 10 minute video, or answering a 5 minute phone call. As someone who's not afraid of opening up small electronics, I found this to be to best alternative to camping out next to a wall outlet, settling on a powerbank (nothing wrong with those, I just don't want to carry yet one more thing with me all the time), or giving in and buying a new phone.After replacing the battery, I'm now only dropping to around 90% after a full day of light use (50-70% if it's moderate-heavy use). This sure beats giving Apple several hundred for another iPhone.I admit, I did use iFixit's battery replacement guide instead of the guides and videos referenced in the booklet that comes with the battery, however the tools and adhesives within the kit are more than adequate for the repair. The inclusion of the ring holder is a nice gesture, but I think I'll pass on putting it on my phone.

After a whole night of charging. Battery power level full. After 4 hours battery dead. Maybe 6 hours if I turn off the display light. Can't see in the light. But at least the battery can last another 2 hours. If I'm lucky. I only use this phone as a remote just to pause my videos recording during a sport games. Half a day later I have to recharge the phone. At least the phone can still be use with a new battery.

A very tedious job, but it can be done with patience, steady hands and following the directions. The battery works good and the tool kit was everything I needed to complete the task. Works like a champ!

Put it in an old iPhone 5c that had a battery that only lasted a day if not being used. The new battery was easy to install and now lasts 5 days in standby. The only recommended addition to the tools included is a set of tweezers, the screws in the iPhone are very small.
