I've taken to hiking recently - and as someone who was/is overweight (obese in fact!) I needed shoes that were good for that and would still support me as I was starting out. So I did a TON of research, read a ton of articles - many of whom recommended ASICS - and eventually I settled on these, the nimbus. And let me tell you: they're WONDERFUL. They're supportive, perfect both for the jogging I've taken up and they keep me steady when hiking from the most simple trails to more rugged ones.I've actually recommended these to friends too - one was complaining about some shoes she bought being terrible, but after recommending her these she's been glowing about them. So I can recommend them! DEFINITELY especially good if you're overweight and picking up things that are hard on the legs!

Toe box gives more room. Love this model, wish they still made them.

Googled best shoes for plantar fasciitis and the top shoe was ASICS gel - nimbus 21. Been doing a lot of walking/running during this pandemic and this shoe amazed me. You have a very good heel support and cushion,when you walk or run the shoe supports your foot to the impact of the ground so less shock to your foot. My feet was not strained , tired, or hurting compared to wearing my Nike or adidas shoes. It felt like walking on air. Gave me more energy to run/walk more because of less strain to your feet and legs. Will buy more and sticking to this brand. But I suggest to buying a 1/2 size up of your regular size and get it wide if you have wide feet like me. I’m a size 7 but I got a 7.5 wide. I was looking at reviews and they said the shoe runs small so it’s good to go a 1/2 size up and it’s narrow by the toe parts. It makes a big difference in your workout with the right shoes to support you!

I am a server, not a runner. I have suffered from planter fasciitis and need good arch support. These offer that and are the only style shoe I can wear but the support wears out within 3 months which is disappointing seeing as I don’t actually run in them. I fe like I should at least get 6 months use

I have a neutral foot when it comes to rolling when I run. My average run is 3 miles at a moderate pace. I have had a Cumulous Adidas shoe for the longest time and I was due for an upgrade. I tried on the new model of the Cumulous and the cushion that was present in the '15 version so I tried the Nimbis (which was also made for a neural foot) and I loved it. Great bounce back, light weight, laces stay tied, and I knees don't hurt after a 5 mile run! I run heal to toe; the heal base of these shoes is very wide and takes the impact well. I am an 81/2 normally, but always size up for running shoes cause feet swell when running I got a 9 1/2. Love the shoe color! I use a baby wipe to clean it off after going on a run on a dirt trail. I think I would be good with a 9, but overall pleased with the shoe!

Very comfortable shoe and good gait correction for people like myself you supinate their feet.

I have run in Asics Gel Nimbus shoes for at least 20 years following the recommendation of a Physical Therapist who was helping me with a foot injury. It is a supportive, yet lighter weight running shoe. About 4-5 years ago the toe box and possibly the heel construction were changed by Asics and the shoe fits smaller/tighter than previous models. Even though my foot is narrow, I now have to buy a 1/2 size larger. The Nimbus 21 fits fine after purchasing a 1/2 size larger, but due to my problem with sensitive Achilles tendonitis in my heels, I am stretching the heel a little before wearing. For years my point of early wear of any Nimbus is the inner heel...when that wears down, it is time for me to get a new Nimbus!

Es un producto excelente para caminata, yo padezco de las rodillas y me siento muy a gusto caminando con ellos.

I've been wearing this style for over a decade. A we all know the fit changes every time a new style is released. This is a a fantastic fit. Seriously considering purchasing another pair.

Leve e confortável

...e invece...Premetto che sono una runner amatrice. Da circa 6 anni sono una fedelissima ASICS di cui ho sempre acquistato le nimbus nelle diverse versioni. Macino circa 150 km al mese e non ho mai avuto nessun problema alle ginocchia, anche in periodo di allenamento più intenso in cui ho aumentato il chilometraggio del 30%.Ho voluto passare alla versione più "pregiata" delle Asics pensando di fare un salto di qualità ma: - mi sono ritrovata una calzata ancora più stretta rispetto alle nimbus, considerate che della asics calzo una 38 mentre normalmente ho una 36 - in una delle due scarpe a soli 150 km dall'utilizzo si è creato un "buchino" in punta per ora solo interno dato dall'usura. Il numero è giusto e sembra che ci sia il classico "dito" di distanza, mi viene da pensare ad una scarsa qualità dei materiali. - ho il fastidiosissimo dolore alla bandelletta e questo credo sia dovuto alle scarpe e all'esagerato DROP che è stato inserito in questa nuova versione.Insomma, una delusione massima, sopratutto per una persona che si fa i suoi 600 km con le scarpe prima di passare alle successive. Mi dispiace ma sono rimasta davvero molto delusa.

Sin entrar en la gran calidad de este calzado destacar que la medida es un poco más ajustada de lo que indica al menos en mujer. La primera talla llegó en su caja original de la marca Asics, que devolvimos por una talla más.La segunda talla llegó en una caja blanca de cartón de muy baja calidad, abollada por todos lados y cuando digo blanca es blanca, sin marca, sin pegatinas de talla. Me ha dado la sensación de comprarla en un mercadillo o en un top manta. Parece más un Reacondicionado a precio normal. Con lo que cuestan podrían traer la caja original.PD: lo mismo es un castigo de Amazón por cambiar la talla...... jejeje
