Decent quality for $50
I bought this because I wanted something smaller and lighter for everyday carry and this fits well in my pocket. It has a knife and a Phillips screwdriver which are the two main functions I need. The blade came very sharp and with regular use is still just as sharp 4 months later. After comparing it to my Leatherman wave+, it’s really not that much smaller, but it’s a LOT lighter making it easier to carry. The functionality of the magnets in the “free” system are very nice, something I wish I had on my wave. This makes the tools easy to get out, but still held secure when not in use. The plastic is a bit of a let down to me, and even though it is a close color to the steel, it just seems odd having plastic in a leatherman tool. None the less, it still feels incredibly durable and solid. I do not regret my purchase.

Better than most reviews suggest
I think this item deserves a higher rating. The locking mechanism is rock solid without any wiggling during use, and the knife is razor sharp. My only issues are that the knife is hard to deploy one-handed the way they show in the videos, so for most people, don't expect to be able to operate it one-handed. The other tools, however, can easily be taken out and put back one handed. The other minor gripe I have is the thumb lever that releases the lock is very firm and quite difficult to press, so don't expect a light, frictionless press for that. You actually need quite a bit of strength. Still overall, for the quality of the individual tools and the good choices for a multi-tool, I would give it 4.5 stars.

Smaller than I had thought
Nice pocket knife but if you have larger hands the one hand opening of the blade is really difficult for me but closing it is easy. Wish Leatherman would at least put a pocket clip on the darn thing!

Top quality
My first impression of this knife is that it appears to be made of top quality materials, and with excellent worksmanship, but the design is just a little 'bulky' compared to other designs. For example, a Swiss Army Knife fits all these tools and more, in a more compact package. Where the Leatherman Free series excels, however, is in 'sturdiness'. Each tool is stouter than on my Swiss Army Knives, and in addition the tools lock, so nothing will close on you in use. Not only do they lock open securely, they also open easily. If you want small/light while still being able to do the job, look to a Swiss Army Knife. If you want strong, sturdy, and precise, this is the better choice. It is not hugely bukly by any means, but it is enough 'thicker' to notice.

Great product!
Leather quality. Nice useful tools. Not too heavy. I carry this every day . Highly recommend.

A more compact EDC
A more compact EDC, but Leatherman quality nonetheless. Easy to open knife and other tools with thumb. Magnetic closure clicks tools into place. An excellent choice if you don’t need the pliers and wire cutter. I got the pocket clip from Donk for it.

"meh"
I carry a SAK Recruit daily but was interested in trying out this Leatherman tool since I really like the Skeletool. I was pretty disappointed overall: - No pocket clip / lanyard clip included. I knew that before I bought it but I thought I might like it enough that I could overlook that or just add a screw to one of the existing threaded holes. I learned my lesson long ago that these tools just slide out of your pocket so I like to attach a UltraTac to clip it to my pocket (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07RQSDDPK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) but there is nowhere to attach it to. The hole on the knife is 1.6cm long - that would eat up alot of your keychain / lanyard. The tool is threaded for the pocket clip but in tip down position only. Why not thread for tip up too? The fact that there are very little options (aside from spending the $15+ for the clip) was really the biggest reason I did not like. - Bulky. This thing is stated to be 1.6cm thick, my SAK 1.52cm but it feels so much bigger than that. I don't know why they couldn't put 2 tools on each side and practically half the width. - Feels cheap. Plastic ("glass filled nylon") sandwiched between stainless sides. The plastic almost has that "3D Printed" feel to it. - Knife appeared sharp and easy to open with one hand. I liked the locking mechanism. - I liked the selection of tools on it and they were cleverly held with magnets. The selling point for me is that it is US made but it just wasn't enough to keep. I was disappointed, will stick with my SAK.

Great little multitool
Love this little multitool. I also have the Free P4, but I almost never have a need for pliers or any of the other stuff the P4 has over the T2. 99% of the time, all I need is the blade and flathead and Philips head screwdrivers. Everything is easily accessible, locks open solidly, and unlocks easily. I greatly prefer the implementation of the Philips screwdriver to how Victorinox does it on their Swiss Army knives. This has become my most carried and used pocket knife out of over 100 other folders, including 10 SAKs.

Excelente

Way cooler than Swiss army knife...
Love this. Has just the right tools in a smaller package that most Leatherman devices (same size as a standard pocket knife). Looks elegant and functional at same time. Great feeling in the hand to open out the tools and locking knife blade feels really safe. Happy with everything and don't mind it doesn't have the pocket clip as it's smaller without..

Producto recomendado.
