Easy peasy!
Works as advertised and very easy to use. The adhesive which allows you to place on wall is great! Love it, don't have to worry about it dropping as you are hammering. Really holds too. I have very heavy mirror on one, and an art piece on another, nice and firm - no worries!

Terrific Product
I ordered two of these to hang an approx 40 lb framed and glassed tapestry on our old horsehair plaster walls. The product arrived in only several days, and was very easy to use. The temporary adhesive backing makes is very easy to level these (when using two) before final nailing, and the four-pin design is excellent for not damaging the plaster or lath. They provide a very secure hanger. I will use these again for any similar application.

Simply the Best Hanger Known to Man
I can't recommend the Ook any higher, one of my favorite products ever and simply the Rolls Royce of wall fasteners. Extremely easy to use and absolutely secure. I have a pretty valuable art collection and I trust that the Ook will keep them on the wall and safe. In over ten years, I've never had a Ook fail me with over 20 applications around my house and another 12-15 in my office. The only note I can make is that all my applications involve dry wall with nothing over 75 pounds. I've read that others have had issues with plaster applications, but I'm guessing that might have something to do with the condition of the plaster as well. For dry wall? buy with complete confidence.

3 days and no destruction...
I have plaster on rock lath walls which are a couple inches thick. Normal wall anchors don’t work on these walls - they just tear up the plaster and aren’t long enough to operate as intended. I’ve used Ook picture hangers in the past for lighter art so decided to take a chance on these for three heavy carved wood panels. Each panel weighs at least 50 pounds and I used one shield for each. They were easy to mount and didn’t crack or chip the plaster. So far the panels haven’t budged. If you don’t see an update, they’re still hanging strong!

Simple & ingenious.
Simple & ingenious. Best of all, it works! I hung two very heavy mirrors right on the drywall and they held firmly.

Easy peasy
Hung a heavy narrow tall rectangular mirror in plaster and it's still holding great. I debated pre drilling the holes in the plaster but didn't need to, just tapped in at a tempered pace
