Not quite as tough as my old GP mount but I can buy 3 or 4 of these for the price of one GP mount.The difference in sturdiness is fairly small,but it's there.A tad more brittle.Still,this will be my go-to if i ever need another one.The housing exterior has MUCH better access to the GP features on the camera than the original:mic,charge port,power button.Much better.I might even go so far as to say "is mo better". At an angle on my bars I do have to double check the red light and make sure it's on as the edges are a bit thicker and obscure the side edge telltale light if you are not facing it directly.No big deal at all.Been riding with it for a month and it functions perfectly.It's even a bit more water proof than my original thanks to those slightly thicker edges.It will handle moderate rain and moisture while riding so you don't have to pull over and bust out the waterproof case if you see a cloud :-) This is a good deal.You should get this if you need a replacement GP housing.

I've been testing this product in the field now regularly for about a month and am very impressed! It's sturdy and seems as well made as the original equipment from GoPro, so I have no concerns about its longevity. It fits my Hero 7 Black perfectly and most people probably wouldn't recognize it as anything but an original case. But those who use the 7 Black with the original case will immediately notice the improvements! Two big things stand out for me: the cut out for the door and the lens cover.First, having a full-sized cutout for the access door is amazing and I don't know why GoPro didn't think of this. Being able to connect the power cord and charge the camera's battery while it's still in the housing is fantastic. And while it's technically part of the case itself, the added bonus of a lens cover is an outstanding addition. There have been so many times when I've wondered why GoPros don't have lens covers. The only problem I have ever had with this thing is A) remembering to take the lens cover off and B) remembering which pocket I put it in! One of the best products I've seen as an after-market replacement in a long time.

As you can see in the video and images, there are three big upgrades in The Frame compared to the factory GoPro 7 frame housing. First, the overall construction, plastic quality and rigidity are excellent and very secure. This case allows the critical ability to open the side door to enable HDMI output, and more importantly, USB-C charging, without removing the camera from its case. That's a huge upgrade. The right side has a cutout so you get more tactile feel of the actual camera power button, a big complaint I had with the GoPro shell. It also has superior cut-outs for microphone. Finally, the included lens cover is far superior to other covers I have purchased as it stays on more securely.I'm a long-time Sametop user and this product is like their others: Consistently high quality and great value for money. Great mount for off roading

This is way better than the housing case my GoPro hero 7 black came with. I hated taking that stupid thing off all the time. There's a large enough hole at the side of this case so that you don't have to take it off to charge AND you don't have to take the little door off the GoPro charging port area and risk losing it.The lock at the top of this case works in pretty much the same way as the original GoPro one does, but I find this one much easier to open. As for keeping the GoPro protected, I couldn't tell you much about that because I'm pretty careful with mine.I believe the GoPro hero 7 black is waterproof without the housing case, but I still feel nervous about not using some sort of housing in that situation. I have used this with my GoPro around a water feature, but not completely submerged underwater. I think I would probably use the original GoPro housing in the rare event that I need to film underwater.Overall, I think this case is definitely worth the money for the convenience it provides in access to the charging ports.

Overall product is good bug I was expecting a much better quality for the price. Price is not justified to the product quality.

Ho acquistato questo telaio per la mia Gopro Hero 7 Black in quanto quello originale si era rotto. Devo dire che la fattura non è male e svolge la sua funzione egregiamente. In più, rispetto all'originale, ha la possibilità di accedere alla parte dello sportello di alimentazione senza aprire il telaio.

I got this to replace the original case on my gopro 7 and find it fits perfectly and the quality is every bit as good as the original

Ayant cassé le boîtier GoPro je recherchais une alternative de remplacement moins chère sans pour autant sacrifier la qualité et je dois dire que je suis très satisfait de SAMETOP. L'ajustement parfait et surtout sont poids aussi léger que celui d'origine (contrairement a d'autres marques) ce qui en faisait l'argument d'achat principal pour moi sachant que j'utilise le tout sur un casque de moto. Bref pour le prix c'est le top ✓
