Not the highest quality but it works.
As long as you are not expecting high quality you'll be okay with this. When I open the package I found that some of the parts had come apart. Putting it back together was not a big deal, but I think it just goes to show that this thing is a bit on the cheap side.I have individual guitar stands from musician's friend that I think are a much higher quality. The metal is thin, the foam is thin, and it's just a bit on the flimsy side. Due to the placement of the legs, however, it is very stable even if you only have one guitar on the stand. If you're going to put a bass on it, expect to extend the neck holder ALL the way up.I like the way guitars and basses lean back a bit on the individual stands that I have, and I don't really care for the way they hang straight down from this particular guitar stand. I know I'm being nitpicky, but perhaps you will be, too. This guitar stand is extremely non-adjustable, save for the height of the neck-holding part.Would I buy this again? No. I probably would have spent a bit more money on a Hercules stand. Am I happy with this purchase? Kinda.EDIT: My 6-string bass will NOT fit. The holder that's under the head of the guitar/bass is NOT wide enough, nor is it adjustable. I don't have a 5 stringer, but I doubt it would hold one. I don't really like my 4 stringer on it, either, it just has a..."not so secure" feeling to it. I out my basses on my MusFriends stand, and my guitars on this one. Much better, thumbs up!

Too light
As a musician, I am always placing my guitar in a guitar stand. I purchased this unit because of the reviews. I’m disappointed that this unit, although simply to assemble… likes to tip over.My previous stand was a dual Hercules eat and. The only reason I didn’t purchase another Hercules is due to the grip to lower or raise the next of the stand. The rubber material (on my unit) degrades over time and it becomes a sticky mess. I hope they’ve made changes to this as that is the only reason I tried to find another guitar stand.I will replace this unit asap. I’ve had multiple moments while grabbing my guitar that the guitar strap grabs hold of the lower mechanism guide to protect the guitar base… and the slightest pull causes my other guitar and stand to topple over. This unit has a poor lower weight distribution to help protect my guitars. I’m going back to Hercules…

Definitely a good buy
I was not sure at 1st due to a couple reviews but I went with my gut and it was a great decision. Can't beat the price, yes it is light but very much sturdy.Held my BC KKW and my bass with my other 6 string. When I remove one it does not tip or even worry me as far as tipping.I bumped into it today actually and didn't knock them over, so yes great buy, price and product worth it.

Doesn't work for slim tele headstocks
this stand is very stable and it is very compact when folded up, so I give it good grades for function EXCEPT it doesn't work with slim style tele headstocks so this is a problem for gigging. If you have a tele with a strat style headstock, it's ok. At home, I can just put my teles on another stand but I bought this to use less stage space when gigging, and it defeats the purpose if I have to put 2 guitars on this and have to bring another stand for my tele. I would never have bought this if I knew it didn't fit teles so I am hoping to save someone else this aggravation. It really pisses me off because if the manufacturer had put some thought into this they could have just tightened up the spacing on the heads or used a V shape head that holds the headstock to make teles fit. The problem is that a tele headstock can slip through the opening and rest on the tuners and the high E string, potentially breaking a string in the process. I have several stands with a V shape head that hold all shape headstocks. I wish they had used a V shape on this stand.

Sit it up right and you will not be disappointed!
I hang two electric and one classical guitar on this stand and it works just great! Just make sure each guitar hanging directly over the bottom legs and you will not have any problems with this stand. If some had it fall over it was because they did not have the guitars positioned properly when tightening down the adjustment knob. Also the guitars hang by the head stock and do not sit on top of the bottom pieces that stick out. Someone said in a review that the guitars would just fall off! Of course they would fall off if you tried to sit them there, the weight of the guitar hanging from the top is what holds the guitars in place. Those are just for the back of the guitars to rest against and have rubber padding on them to protect the guitar finish. Also there are some foam rings that come with the unit that can be used to help hold the guitars in place but I find those totally unnecessary. Yes, it's not a extra heavy duty unit but for the price and my use I love it, keeps my three guitars nice and tidy in the corner of my room! Sit it to the right height and position the guitars over the bottom legs and you'll love it too!

A must for Flying V's, B.C. Rich's, and Explorer style guitars
So... My first one came with a broken clamp, which happened to be the clamp that holds the top and bottom together and locks the stand in place. I reported and they shipped another one out. It works perfectly, and I do not worry about my guitar falling. I specifically bought it for my Kramer Focus 400ST V. I will be buying more.

Great space saver
You may be asking yourself if you should buy more guitars. Obviously the answer is yes, but the real question is where to store them all. This stand is a great space saver at a good price.Currently I'm storing two electrics and an acoustic in it. The electrics (strat clone, washburn) are really narrow on the headstock opposite the tuners and I was worried it might not fit, but it wasn't a problem. And there is still lots of space between the floor and the guitar at the lowest setting. I'll be getting a long scale bass soon and it looks like it should fit (although it might not get along with the guitars; eternal rivals!). The stand is sturdy enough and doesn't wobble even when only one guitar is in it.It folds up easily enough and is reasonably compact. It's about the length of my mini acoustic when folded (see pic). When putting the guitar in, I find it easiest if you twist the guitar so it's perpendicular, slide it in, then twist it back (easier than it sounds). You could just push the neck through the foam holder but I'm worried you would wear out the foam eventually. The foam doesn't feel like it's really high quality. That's my only complaint.I tried it out with a few yukes and it works well enough (see pics). They aren't long enough for the body of the yuke to be supported by the stand unless you lower the stand all the way to the floor. If you have it in a corner, getting the guitars in and out is a bit of pain without bumping the wall. It would be really cool if the stand would rotate. But I'm not expecting that feature at this price point and haven't seen it on similar stands either. To sit or to hang? Many stands have the guitar sitting on a base, whereas this stand is letting the guitar hang. The advantages of hanging are:* it takes up slightly less space because the guitar doesn't need to lean back.* you can hang short instruments in it like yukeleles (yukes are awesome! Size doesn't always matter does it?)* guitar strings are constantly creating stress on the neck in one direction. Hanging the guitar would release some of that stress due to gravity pulling everything straight. If you are leaning the guitar like other stands you would be adding even more stress. In practice, if you have a quality guitar with a good truss rod it likely shouldn't matter but something to think about... I'm sure you'll want what's best for your babies. Please like the review if you found it helpful, and I'll add more in the future.

Solid choice with some compromises
A three-guitar stand offered at this price is likely to include some compromises. In the important areas, however, I think they made good choices. The main things for me are stability and footprint. The main reason I’m buying a multi-stand is to save space and this does an excellent job. It takes up a similar amount of space as a single guitar stand which is awesome. The other main thing for me is stability. The quality of the bar, base and three holders is very good. It feels strong and sturdy.Where were compromises made? In three area I can see so far, all of which I can live with:* the padding on the t-beams is trash. Two of the three foam covers arrived split down the middle, so that by default the guitars would rest on bare metal. This would obviously be catastrophic for the guitars’ finish. It was easy, however, to simply rotate them so the non-split side was facing the guitars. I’m ok with that.* the black finish on the stand is comically cheap. After literally 4 mins of adjustment it was so badly scratched it looked about five years old. I have stands that are 10 or 15 years old that are less stratched up than this one was after a couple of minutes. However, the metal underneath the finish is a dark grey do the scratches don’t really stand out that much. I’m ok with this cosmetic flaw.* Basses don’t fit well, as other reviewers have mentioned. The ones I have hit the floor even at maximum height and I’m not confident in utterly maxing out the height anyway with heavy basses on it. It’s not a bass stand unless you have short scale basses. So, I hang my basses on my Hercules stand. A minor annoyance but something I can live with. For $40 cad, I feel like these are acceptable compromises. I was looking for a sturdy stand that saves space. I was immediately impressed by the heft and quality of the components. Aside from the foam, the components are uber solid looking and feeling.I feel like paying less than half what a Hercules costs, the manufacturer will have to make some choices to keep costs down. I’m not sure how much they actually saved by using dollar-store foam padding for a three-inch long cylinder but overall, I think the designers made good choices. I’d buy it again.

Sturdy
After reading the reviews I assumed this would be a cheaper stand that wouldn't hold a bass. It appears many reviewers don't know how to use a screw to heighten the stand. It stays sturdy even when removing guitars. Would buy again if I had another 3 guitars.

Great triple stand
Easy to get guitars in and out, no locking thingy. Adjustable in height. Support legs are long and make this stand very stable.I have 3 guitars in it, no problems. 2 normal size and a 3/4 size classical guitar, all fit perfectly.

Just get it
Does the job. Sturdy enough. Holds my ukes and classic guitar very well. I don't have 3 full size guitar to really test the limits tho. It's also surprisingly portable. Good value!
