Great Strings!
I've been using Elixirs since I bought a Taylor years ago. I used to just use them on my acoustics because the sounded amazing, but now I use them on both my acoustics and electrics. These strings go great on a Taylor T-5 or a Les Paul. Yes, they are heavier gauge as the other reviews pointed out, and the G string is a wound G. Heavier gauge and a wound G can make solos more difficult if you're bending strings, but I've had no problem adjusting. They last forever, sound great, and Amazon has them at a great price. I really can't say enough about Elixirs.

Great strings
My first experience with these strings was with a custom guitar I ordered about a year ago. These strings have exceeded my expectations. I was a long time D'Addario player but after playing Elixirs, I dont think I'll go back. I've noticed greater longevity with the strings. They don't rust and they retain their tone much longer than other strings I've used. My guitars have Floyd Rose bridges and I've noticed these strings tend to remain in tune better than other strings I've tested. Recently I purchased an ESP KH Jr guitar with a fixed bridge. I was having a heck of a time tuning this guitar and keeping it in tune. Additionally the tone of the guitar was quite muddy on the low end. I put some 12 elixirs on it and both problems were solved. It stays in tune now and the heavier guage seems to have tightened up the Bottom end.

The Only strings I use
I have been using Elixir Strings on my acoustic for ever. I got a PRS Guitar a little over a year ago and Just changed the strings and they sound Amazing. They are bright and feel good when playing. I got a heavy gauge for jazz music that I'm working on and I just Love the sound I'm getting. And the strings last a really long time.

Perfect strings
It is nearly May, and I have had the same set of elixirs on my Taylor T5 guitar since mid-January. They keep their tune very well and I haven’t had a noticeable loss in tone so far. I don’t play the same guitar every day, but I play this Guitar for most rehearsals and gigs. I’m going to see how long I can keep these on, until they break or become unplayable. (With an extra set in the case, just in case.). I’ve used elixir acoustic strings since 2010 and this is my first time using their electric string. So far, I’m very impressed! I’ll be back to tell how long I kept the string on.

21 years on Elixir strings and still loving them
I have been playing acoustic guitar for over 20 years now, and as long as I can remember I have used elixir strings. I recently got an electric guitar and for some reason decided to try earnie ball strings... Horrible choice. They had me thinking I hated electric guitars with how inconsistent they sounded. So I decided before I hang up my new SG for good, I should try using the brand I always have and got a set of Elixir heavys and the difference is shocking. Sounds like an actual guitar now, consistent and clean. These have a really rich deep tone to them and I love it. Save yourself time and get these first. No idea why I was trying something else in the first place.

Elixir strings are amazing.
These feel really nice. You can't compare any other string to a freshly put on elixir.

Great strings that last!
They feel great, sound nice and crispy, and last a long time! Maybe not for the people who want a more dark sounding string though.

Great strings
Very long lasting strings (Used to change them every 2 weeks with slinkys, these last me 3 months). Great on my Silvertone 1448, really makes the lipstick pickup sing. Not so great on my Fender Jazzmaster though, WAY too bright. I'd recommend going with the Polywebs for Fenders.

Strumming perfection
I recently picked up a pack of Elixir 12152 Electric Guitar Strings, and let me tell you, they're like a breath of fresh air for my guitar. I've been playing for years, and I've tried all sorts of strings, but these stand out in a league of their own. The first thing I noticed was the longevity. I'm the kind of player who goes through strings like there's no tomorrow, especially with daily practice and regular gigs. But these Elixir strings have an incredible lifespan. I've been playing them hard for weeks, and they still sound as fresh and bright as the day I put them on. It's almost like they have a superpower against wear and tear. But longevity is just the start. The tone is what really got me. It's rich, clear, and has this beautiful, resonant quality that brings out the best in my guitar. Whether I'm playing soulful blues or high-energy rock, these strings deliver a consistent, superior sound that never fails to impress. Installation was a breeze too. I remember stringing up my guitar and feeling how smoothly they went on. And once tuned, they held their pitch like a dream, saving me from the constant retuning I had to do with other brands. And let's talk about comfort. These strings feel fantastic under my fingers. Smooth, with just the right amount of tension, they make playing for hours feel effortless. No more sore fingers or struggling to get the perfect bend. In summary, if you're an electric guitar player looking for strings that offer durability, exceptional tone, ease of use, and comfort, then the Elixir 12152 Strings are your best bet. They've transformed my guitar playing experience, and I can't recommend them enough. Five stars isn't enough for these little wonders!
