Well made & stylish
I was a little concerned about the fit on our new Toyota Highlander as some comments stated that it did not fit the more bulky visors that come with the newer vehicle. However, I was very pleased to find that it fits our new vehicle like a custom tailor made item. I have always liked well made mechanisms that work smoothly & precisely, and this visor fits that description. Functionally it covers a large viewing area & is very clear. No distortion at all throughout the lens. It is light to handle and operate and as I said installs in seconds without the need of any tools, superfluous straps, Velcro or what have you. Best of all it's not as expensive as you might expect a product of this quality would be.

It does help...but it droops
If my wife and I had really loved this thing, we'd have bought a second one. Not gonna happen. If you're driving into the sun, morning or evening, it DOES make driving easier, cuts down on the glare. But a good pair of polarized sunglasses will reduce the glare far better, so that's my remedy of choice. The SAILEAD visor doesn't really appear to be polarized. If it is, the polarization is quite weak. With sunglasses, reflected glare is MUCH reduced. With the visor, not so much. One thing, though, with the sunglasses on, I find it VERY hard to see my car's speedometer, or the on-board clock, or other instruments. The SAILEAD sun visor cures that problem, letting me view my instruments easily. That is a big plus, but I still prefer the sunglasses when going into a rising or setting sun, for improved glare reduction. Where I find myself using the visor most is on bright sunny days, just to cut down on the brightness and make it easier on my eyes. When I'm not using it, my wife will use it, as a passenger. Biggest negative is that after only a couple of days of use, the visor started drooping, not staying up out of the way when we didn't want it. We have to uninstall it and put it away. That only takes a second or two, so no biggie, but it's an irritant.

Works well on sun/glare, but flimsy...
The springloaded mounting idea is good, but the "grips" (half round of hard plastic) are very, very wide so they do not fit snug on visors (tried on Highlander, BMW 528i and Porsche 911). Unless your visor is an inch or more thick, it will move around. That, combined with the material the extension is made of, an extremely thin plexi-like material, the whole rig vibrates rapidly (and a lot). The whole unit wags and vibrates and is very distracting. Too bad it doesn't mount more securely and the material isn't thicker so as to not flap in the breeze!

Nice clamp on shade, works well for sunny days.
The clamp is sturdy and not just a slide on one side affair it grips both sides of your sun visor. The shade is light weight, dark, and easy to adjust. I'm starting to have vision problems. This shade makes driving in bright sun light much easier on my eyes. When not needed it just flips up out of the way. I'll be getting more of this style of shade for my other cars.

Waste of money !
After I opened the package ,1st thing I noticed was how thin and Flimsy it was I was afraid it would break just holding it up to the sun! The Sun was very bright ( blinding ) during sunset, I didn't even install this Visor extender, I took off the plastic film very carefully & held it up to the very bright sunset ,the visor extender did not block the sun at all ! It was like looking through a Clear piece plastic !! I immediately put it back in the package it came in & tape it back up ,so I could return it ! It's still haven't been picked up by UPS as instructed the next business day which is today ! Hopefully another UPS driver will pick it up sometime today ? I thought my n return package would be picked up by the same UPS driver that delivered my other package today, but the driver didn't take the package I was returning when he delivered my other package !? Such a waste of gas to have another UPS Driver to come today to pick up my returning package sitting in front of my door, he had to move it ,so he couńld deliver my order I got today !! & it's still sitting on the small table by my door on my porch with a sticky pad piece of paper with my note saying Return To Amazon ! So I guess he didn't have a order to pick up the returning package ? Hopefully another UPS driver will pick up the other package to be returned to Amazon the very thin flimsy visor extender I'm returning!! I DEFINITELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS VISOR EXTENDER TO ANYONE !! COMPLETELY A WASTE OF MONEY !! & THE PRICE WASN'T CHEAP ,CHEAPLY MADE ,NO SUN BLOCKING FEATURES!! BUT AMAZON PACKING WAS GREAT, For a CHEAPLY PIECE OF PLASTIC, But the wesite description by the Seller is completely wrong with the way they described this Sun blocking Visor Extender, Shame on the Seller !! Not Amazon & I & other's trusted seller's description of their product to be accurately tested??

Great for migraine folks; not for daily use??
Before broken: I like that I can tilt the shade piece so i can cover exactly where sun is coming through. This is pretty nice and my mom already wants one too after she saw me using while I drove. I manipulate this every which way and it allows for that. All of a sudden after few months (1 or 2) maybe the shade piece isn't holding anymore. Like it flops back down. I push up to have half and half view and it flops back down. I fold it back up when not using like evening and it flops back down. There is no way for me to tighten to adjust it. I am careful when using but I dont think this can hold up to daily/every drive event usage. Before that I would have bought everyone one for Christmas and Birthdays! It was a value for the money while it worked but now it irritates me all the time and no value in something you can't use for it's intended purpose. I would have hoped this lasted YEARS. Like 5 years and even more! It was so nice getting to blick corner sun or shade the sun ray blinding me. I got about 3 months of good use. Even the few months (use period: end of April to midAugust,2021) I wouldn't say value anymore.

Easy installable and functionable sun visor extender
This is a very good product. So far, out of the ones I've bought this sun visor extender was the easiest to install and had the clearest view while serving its purpose. The spring that is used to install the sun visor works really well and you can adjust it easily. Once installed you can still see the road and traffic lights clearly while the sun is out of the way. Others I had bought used velcro to install which was very uncomfortable and quite difficult. Not only were the other products hard to install, but the sun visor was usually too dark to see the road and traffic lights clearly. This Polycarbonate Polarized Sun Visor Extender is very good and affective. It really is well made and strong. The only negative thing about it is that the screw cap falls off easily, but it doesn't really affect the functionality of the product. Its still a very good product.

So worth it! Just buy it!
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this thing! I have a fixed left pupil, meaning it never ever dilates. It is always big like an orange so light gets into my left eye and it feels like someone is just stabbing me in the eye constantly. I first tried this type of device when I purchased the As Seen On TV one... What a piece of trash that was. Total hard plastic and awkward. I had no need for the extra yellow visor they add to the dark one. It finally broke and I ordered this one! Just installed it this morning and OMG! It literally felt like when you switch from a pair of tight shoes to comfy and right size made for your foot shoes! I love the curve on it and the spring news on the installation clip. I'm 5'4 female, I didn't even have to adjust the height. Straight out of the box it covered my entire face. Everything looked so clear. No need to wear my glassses. I can't wait to use it during the 6pm SoCal sun, which really is the most blinding thing while driving. I couldn't recommended this product enough! I'm in love!

FITS LARGE VISORS AND WORKS WELL
Fitted the large sunvisors of my SUV and works well. The lightweight construction causes the visor to bounce around

Doesn’t fit!
It is too thick after placing in the car shade. Even before flipping down it is already blocking some of my view. Didn’t use it at all.

Good quality
Fully adjustable, allows clear vision for driving but protects from bright sunshine.

Buen producto

Sun Visor
I bought this after reading a Top 10 Car Sun Visors article in which this was top of the list. I mounted it on my car visor and lifted it to the not using position, it just dropped down in front of me. I could not, whatever I tried get it to stay up out of the way. I ended up going a DIY makeshift fix. It’s very flimsy as it is. If it didn’t keep dropping down I would be a fairly decent item.
