Fit my Kenmore 41262 front loader, which is a rebranded LG WM3170CW. It's right at 5 years old. Hopefully it holds up well, but I couldn't find any differences between it and the OEM I pulled out. I typically buy OEM parts for everything, but the LG one was 7-10 days, this was 2 days. I really don't care that it saved $12. It was more about not having the washer broken for an extra week! My wire harness was in perfect condition, but you should check yours just in case you need both. I put the model numbers in this review in case you are looking for this sensor and wondering if it will fit your washer. It was a little tricky for me to figure out which one to buy, especially since mine is branded as a Kenmore. This snapped right in first try, fixed the issue and has worked flawlessly thus far.

I have a Kenmore 796.41162410 washer that has the LE error. Based on internet searches this 6501KW2002A look to be the part needed. Prior to ordering, I removed the old part to make sure of the part number. This particular one from this seller matches exactly and also has the same part number text stamped on it similar to the old part (could be OEM?). I went with this seller even though the part was a couple of dollars more because of this. After replacing the part, the washer now spins and works like before. Here are some tips I learned (do these at your own risk):1. Search for how to videos, they are very helpful.2. If the center nut is hard to turn, insert a screwdriver or smaller wrench through the motor cover slots into the white motor housing to hold it. You may have to put some muscle into unscrewing it if rusted.3. The motor cover has magnets on the inside, so you'll need a bit of elbow grease to pull it off.4. You can measure the resistance of the old part to make sure, but I didn't have a meter and figure the cost was worth a try.

The media could not be loaded. My LG Washing Machine grinding noise when spinning. I’ve fixed it now. The main issue here was it wasn’t spinning. Nothing else was wrong just not spinning. So I suspected these things in this order:1 I saw some videos on YouTube where the spline had worn out. I opened it up and it wasn’t the case.2 I had a comment from another realtor here saying the spider arms may be broken. I opened it up completely and disassemble the washing machine check the arms it was in the case. I clean them anyways.3 Next I suspected the bearings might be bad but I poked around and displaying fine so I greased them and put the washing machine back together. All of this was frustrating because they were no physical or mechanical issues.4 So I suspect to the electrical issues. After running the machine again putting it together, I noticed it was jerking so probably an electronic piece that’s responsible for synchronization of power delivery.So that led to the hall effect sensor. It was a $10 part that was attached to the back of the washing machine and it took me all of maybe 15 minutes to replace.But by now I have learned the ins and outs of the washing machine so I feel more confident diagnostic future issues.

My LG washing machine was giving me an LE error code. I recommend watching videos on how to disassemble the washer and replace this part. It's simple if you know where to look. Part snapped on and connector fit perfectly. The error went away.
