Works well and dries fast, just be mindful of taste transfer
This “no nail biting” polish was very easy to apply and worked exactly as intended. It dries quickly and doesn’t cause any burning or discomfort on the nails or surrounding skin, which I really appreciated. The taste is definitely unpleasant (as expected), and that’s what makes it effective. It really does help keep your hands out of your mouth. One thing to be aware of is that the taste can transfer if you touch other people or objects—especially kids—so that’s just something to keep in mind during use. Overall, it’s a simple but effective product, and I would recommend it for anyone trying to break the nail-biting habit.

Best one so far! Few tips for success
TLDR - It works very well. Will make you more mindful about where you place your fingers and you will stop with minimal effort. I have been biting my nails for my entire life over 30 years and this product works on the first application. The taste is quite awful and is so powerful if you even touch your nails to your lips. It does linger for a long time as well, reminding you that you placed your nails near your mouth. Taste is similar to gasoline and burning electrical wires. Super nasty. I have tried other similar products and I am not sure if it's just me or the product, but they didn't seem to be that strong or taste that bad and I would eventually bite right through it. I have been placing this on for over a month and haven't bit since the first application. My nails are getting their "White Tips" which I honestly don't know if I have ever seen before. I feel more confident about my appearance than I have ever had in my life and I am not trying to hide my nails while meeting with people. It's such a simple product and yet has a profound effect on my life. I wanted to include a few pointers for success that I have found helpful for anyone starting out. - Don't use too much per application. I found that if you wipe the brush on the rim of the bottle to remove excess polish, you can still get a good application and this will cut down to the polish transferring into handheld foods (I like pizza so this was a big lesson) -Wear gloves if you are prepping food. If you do some baking (I like making bread and kneed dough) or anything with direct contact to food, wear gloves to protect your food from contamination. -Make the application of your nail polish routine for best results. If you want to have the best success, apply once every 1-2 days to make sure the taste stays strong. For me, I found that applying the polish right after the shower makes it routine. Find out what makes sense for your routine. Hope this motivates you to give it a try and kick a nasty habit!

Great for my 11yo
My 11yo has been biting his nails for years. I honestly dont know the last time I cut his nails. We've only needed to put this on twice in the past month and I actually helped him cut his nails for the first time a couple days ago! He says it tastes very nasty and has definitely stopped him from biting them. It is strongest for the first couple days and will slowly wear off. We put it on the second time about 1.5 weeks after the first coat because he caught himself chewing the little bit of nail that had started to show. But it is slowly breaking his habit as well! Would def recommend.

It's works...! Too well, maybe?
I have chewed my nails since childhood, but as I approach my thirties, I began to notice bottom front teeth damage from my awful habit. In an attempt to stop denigrating my teeth, I bought this. It definitely works. It went on clear over my painted nails and dried quickly! But do not make the mistake I did and apply this stuff on the underside of your nails. The taste is extremely bitter and will instantly remind you to STOP putting your fingers in your mouth. HOWEVER, this also happens if you eat a chip, a piece of fruit, or any snack you've handled. With one application of the polish, this goes on for DAYS. I'm on day 4 of my first application of the polish and the taste and strength are still there, only slightly faded, and I wash my hands many times a day. You definitely don't need to apply this multiple times a day as the packaging states and as I previously mentioned, don't apply it on the underside of your nails, it is not necessary! The bitter taste will get under there regardless. My major problem is that the awful taste gets on my lips, and it's hard to get off. I find myself scrubbing my lips with a tissue or my shirt to get the taste off which has dried out my lips and made them a little rough. On the bright side, this stuff is long-lasting and supposedly, non-toxic. I have not chewed my nails, only attempted to do so, so that's a win! I will keep using it! Consider using some mini tongs or chopsticks when eating finger food, it will save you a lot of trouble. :)

Works, but I couldn't stand the consequences.
It does what it's supposed to do, but I stopped using it because I couldn't stand the consequences that came with using it. The horrid taste lingers in my mouth for a long time after trying to bite my nail. The polish sticks to my lips, and so it contaminates anything I eat, even when I'm not biting my nails. Same thing with my floss. In my experience, this resulted in several hours or even days where I just couldn't get rid of the lingering taste, even without biting my nails during that time. I ended up getting a chew toy instead, which worked better for me.

1 Week no biting, going strong.
I have been biting my nails for 30 years. I was hesitant, because as a man who has to constantly prove himself via old black coffee cooked in a cast iron kettle, and cigars that have aromas like shoe leather with notes of dried mud - I did not think this would help. This has made me stop biting almost instantly - the taste is not harsh, it is just very unpleasant; what I'd image burnt rubber smell tastes like, and it lingers forever. I have to wash my mouth out to remotely enjoy anything after even looking at my nails the wrong way. My only advice is to be mindful while eating finger food, or putting your hands near your face at any time. - Great product.

Habits are a mental game, this is a cheat code
I have had this product for a week and a half already and have not bitten my nails since its first day on my fingers. Reviews about its taste being strong are false (from my experience). It is certainly bitter and you will make a face, it also does linger and stick to your lips for a few minutes. However, this should not be regarded as a bad thing. After nearly 18 years of biting my nails, the damage will certainly show as I age even if I stop now. You do not deserve to go easy on yourself to break this habit. Suffer now (and honestly, it's not that bad) and kick this habit before it hurts you permanently. Pros: Since I started applying it, I am 100x more conscious about my fingers in my mouth area. When I eat foods that require eating with my hands, I'm more cautious about finger placement. This connects to later when I'm bored so that I don't bite my fingers for fear of the taste. The taste. Quite bitter, and makes you remove your finger and lick your lips for a few minutes to get the taste off - tells you to not do it again. Cons: The taste lingers and if you apply it wrong, you might not even have to contact your fingers to your mouth to taste it, but this is a user error. Not really a con, but you need to be aware and use your brain to help you not bite as well - it isn't automatic, you need to train yourself to not bite. TLDR --- It is an effective >$10 solution that can get you through your bad habit granted you also put in some work to make sure you kick the habit.

Stop the Bite
I have bitten my nails for about 20 years, started as a habit when I was very young. Decided to try this product as I was tired of my nails looking ragged and horrible all the time. This product is fantastic at cutting your habit. I am 1 week in, using this product twice a day, and not bitten my nails at all. I would bite subconciously when I was on the computer or watching a movie and now, this product reminds me to stop whenever i bite. It tastes absolutely FOUL, which is the point of the product, but it is seriously nasty and the chemical taste lingers for a while. The only problem is that this can transfer onto foods you are eating with your hands, like a packet of crisps or slice of toast, so you need to be careful. Also, if you put this stuff on your nails, you NEED to remove it after each day of use, as the potency drops off considerably after around 6 hours, and putting layers over layers of this stuff on your nails looks pretty nasty. Removes very easily with nail varnish remover. All in all, wonderful product that I am confident will curb my habit.

it sounded like "stone", not sure if that may have just ...
I don't usually write reviews but decided to for this product because of it's effectiveness. My 3 year old has been sucking her left thumb since birth to the point where a small bump developed on that digit. Also, the dentist indicated that her thumb sucking could affect her teeth, even if she does not have her permanent ones yet, and further research revealed that it could lead to speech problems, she already couldn't pronounce "spoon" properly, it sounded like "stone", not sure if that may have just been due to her age. I looked up the chemicals in this product and most seem to be naturally occurring, if not exactly benign, but I was mainly looking for any reference to carcinogens, which I did not see, so I ordered a bottle which arrived within 2 weeks. We applied it to her thumb nail, she thought it was nail polish. When she put the thumb into her mouth, she started complaining, more like a fake cry, and asked for water. When that didn't help, she put a paper towel in her mouth for perhaps 30 minutes. I put some on my nail to try it, and although it's unappealing, a combination of bitter and pungent, I thought that she may overcome her distaste. She did not suck her thumb for the rest of the first day and only tried to suck it once on the second day. I think she tried on day 3, but mostly out of reflex. Surprisingly, she has stopped and we've not had to reapply since the second week.

Best sustainable solution
Sure! Here's a redrafted version of your message in a more polished and impactful way: --- This is by far the best solution I've used. I’ve tried several others, but they couldn’t withstand water and would get wiped out easily. This one, however, offers a truly sustainable and long-lasting result. Highly satisfied
