Better than HID, defintely worth the step up
A few years back I did a full retrofit with Morimoto mini-H1 projectors and HID bulbs on a Honda Civic. It was a big improvement over the stock halogen lighting, but over time HID bulbs tend to shift in color and get dimmer so it was time for new bulbs. LEDs have really advanced in the years that have passed since I did the retrofit, so I wanted to try out some LEDs. I chose these Car Rover LEDs after being happy with their other products in a different vehicle.Installation of H1 bulbs can be a huge hassle because of the design of the retaining clips that they use. The clips are a thin wire that must be worked around the base of the bulb, then carefully latched in place. This is usually made even more difficult by tight spaces under the car's hood. This holds true on my Civic so I knew installation of any bulb would be less than simple. When I opened the Car Rover package though and examined the bulbs, I was immediately hopeful that their design would make things much easier. The product description mentions in passing that it is a 2 piece design, but I was still surprised to see just how they come apart. The bulbs ingeniously have a small collar that slides off of them and serves as the base that needs to be clipped into the car's headlight assembly or projector. It turned out that this design GREATLY simplified the installation of the H1 bulbs in my projectors. Even though there was not much room to work, especially on the driver's side behind the battery, having just a small piece to get aligned and clipped in was relatively "easy". Not having to work with the full size of the bulb in the tight space was a real relief and was so much easier than when I installed the HID bulbs into the projectors years ago. With the collar securely clipped in, I was then able to simply slide the full bulb unit into the collar and projector. I made sure the bulb alignment was vertical, plugged in the electrical connection (see note below), and powered things up with one LED and one HID to do some comparisons. The first thing that I noticed was just how clean and white the light output from these LEDs is. Like I said, HID colors shift over time and since it is gradual you don't necessarily notice it. But my HID bulbs that were originally 5000K had much more blue in them than these 6000K LEDs. The color of the light from these bulbs is absolutely perfect in my opinion - clear bright white with no blue or yellow coloring.Next is the brightness - and with HIDs being pretty universally accepted as the brightest, I was hopeful that the LEDs would at least be equal to the brightness of what I was replacing. In this regard, I was more than impressed because the LED was much brighter than the HID. While I was admittedly comparing brand new LEDs to used HIDs, I still consider this to be a fair test since LEDs are not known to fade over time like HIDs. Perhaps a brand new HID bulb would have been a bit brighter, but that brightness would not be consistent or long lasting so I consider the LED to be a much better choice. As an added bonus, I no longer have HID ballasts under my hood. While less than common, there have been a number of reported cases of RFI from ballasts causing electrical issues in cars. With some of theses problems being as serious as electronic steering systems making the car turn without the driver actually turning the steering wheel, I never felt 100% confident in having the ballasts in place, especially with one of them being very close to the ABS control unit of my car. That concern is now completely gone along with the ballasts.Note on the electrical connection: My Civic came from the factory with 9006 low beams that I replaced when I did the H1 conversion. The Honda wiring was meant to plug into a 9006 bulb, and this worked fine for my HID system because the ballasts used the same connectors. However, this is not the wiring that H1 bulbs use themselves. H1 bulbs have 2 male spade terminals on them, and these LED bulbs have this type of connection as would be expected. So in my case I could have either cut off the plugs on the factory wiring harness to crimp on female spade connectors, or use some adapter plugs. I chose to not cut the factory wiring harness and instead purchased TOMALL 9005 9006 Male Socket Connector for Headlights Fog Lights Retrofit Extension Wiring Harness . I crimped some female spade connectors onto those sockets, and then was able to hook up the H1 Car Rover LEDs to my Honda 9006 factory wiring harness with no issues at all.

Bright light and looks pretty good, but!
The lights looks bright, the quality looks good, but what makes me mad it was that, the H1 don't come with the adapter for the H1 connection. And you have to spend another $7 on the stupid adapter. No I have to wait 6 days till I get the dumb adapter.

Short Lifetime
On I put it on runs fine and looks so bright but after 11 months one side bet burn and won’t work anymore so 11 months is really poor lifetime for something that cost $40+++
